New Hospital Management

I would appreciate being quoted correctly: I invited Kare to make an attempt to run the hospital if he believes he can do a better job than I myself was doing. Since he believes he is now in charge, I think this is a testament to his ability to listen to those he interacts with.

The premise of the hospital was that under the nobles - specifically through Lord Vintner, may he rest in peace - Iris bartered her own personal wealth to secure funding for all those potions and supplies Emerald Camp had been handing out like candy to the settlement last year. As well as collecting the other physicians, establishing a guard, and organizing them on the battlefield for many a month before you had arrived in the settlement. As well as soliciting donations and divvying pay to physicians for their personal expenses, which they would otherwise have not had, out of our camp's coffers.

You might have many disagreements with her on a goodly many subjects, but to downplay her efforts is to insult all those in hospital employ, and all the citizens they have aided. You and Vali have done nothing to acknowledge any of this good, or shown any real initiative of your own beyond whining to anyone with ears about how you are superior in every way.

Not once have I heard a proposal or suggestion on how to do better.
Not once have I heard you ask to speak with Hospital members to gather opinions or discuss in good faith, and willing to hear them out, how to improve the Hospital.
Not once have I heard you take Iris up on her numerous invitations to sit down and work together to make things better.

Without a noble patron for the hospital at present, I don't see the merits of continued argument. Emerald Camp will no longer be able to pay the monthly fees for curative potions without noble assistance. I will continue to work on discussing with the Naval Service and nobility in the spring, when the new lord or lady arrives, but until such time you are simply a collective of physicians that do not wish to work together, with no greater benefit for doing so.

Kare, I see no reason why you couldn't make your own 'hospital' and name it something different. Maybe 'other hospital'.
This behaviour does not speak well to your leadership ability.

A well-run hospital ensures our health and safety at all times. Surely that is worth fighting for as much as any war is.

I don't believe I have met a Primrose yet. I would encourage you to talk to Kare, Vali, Doyly, Iris and myself to gather a breadth of opinions on why our Hospital is important.

"I truely dont understand why everyone is against the thought of me testing to see if I can take up the challenge of running the hospital or not. I dont think I've ever done anyone any wrong to invoke such backlash from this.
