"I see your value, Kare. And I know you would not want to miss the opportunity to meet with farmers and settlers in the farther reaches. I am fairly certain they have not had a doctor in those parts in ages. Might be that the last doctor they saw was Doctor Miggs. Besides, Van is well suited for assisting in battle settings. The quick and large amounts of healing Van can do I am sure will cover the were patrol."

"Good to hear then... I am not sure what you have been titled as yet. The Commander was saying he has not yet assigned titles to all the ranks. But just as well, I suppose Jarl is the more appropriate form of address for you. Van will be along to aid as needed as well. He has kindly offered him support. I desired Kare to attend with me to minister the farmers. You'll have to forgive his absence on my account."
