Thank you immensely to everyone for all their hard work. It was a game with a lot of heart, and a good game overall!

And now... To the good part!

What did you like, what needs improvement, and what were your most exciting stories / moments / interactions? Tell us your thoughts!

Any concerns or major complaints, please feel free to email contact@underworldralinwood.ca to speak to the Owners (myself and Dan) directly.

My body hurts from being scary.

It was fun being scary.

It was fun interacting with people as the scary, they were fun to be scary at, good job.

I'm quite tired.

LOVED THE GAME! Well the parts I was at game for lol.
pros: *Dingo saves the second most unlucky person in Ralinwood (love you Ursle but you might have a contender)
*Rp with people who joined the henge guard!
*the bandit mod on friday night! OMG loved everything leading up to it and then doing it!
*getting a call at home to inform me Aranea/my henge has been killed and I'm taking a death. This opens SOOOO many rp option as well as showed that even when one is not at underworld one is still part of it, and I thank you all for that!

Cons:
*sadly ran out of time between game and my dog needing me so i did not get to do everything I had planned, but thats life

I had one hiccup this game that was a little upsetting, but it didn't damper the overall weekend.

Loved:
-Being a pain elemental. Being a big bad scary thing is really fun sometimes. "How did you get rid of it?" "I ate it. :o"
-Being a hellhound. "We could have been friends." "Rrrrr....>:c"
-Watching the new Einher clan enjoying themselves. Its so nice to see. And the accents make me happy.
-Watching Morty. Excellent job this year, Dan! And seeing Oliver push him, kudos. XD "STOP CHEERING!!"
-Being a sunday Rock Elemental.  "IMA STAB IT." "*sunders*" ".____.!!!"
-The lovely being that is Mari.
-Watching PCs rally against fire, air and bandits.
-Breaking up the illegal fighting ring and being proud of our bluff tactics. They figured out what to bring without me even giving them a hint.
-The Regent's meeting after said raid.
-Rio looks lovely in a red dress mage robe.
-those fae. Adam, you are a card.
-playing shattered elves is fun.
-watching shane trying to keep kobolds alive warms my heart. <3
-my morty mask got used!

cons:
-NPCs. I love you guys, and i am sometimes guilty because i partake, but please stop talking oog on roles, between pops or while travelling. whispering is discouraged but understandable. shaper directions are also understandable. People spend 50-80 dollars on this game and immersion is a selling point.

-having almost no masks on friday

First weekend event as Heavy-Metal Velvet, holy shit it was tiring XD

Pro's;
- WARDEN BUSINESS. Felt really organic to go after bandits. It's super refreshing to go after natural problems rather then Supernatural ones. Felt great to do the work of wardens rather then it being a title.
- Will A. Dude did great with his mods and characters, well done <3
- Weather. Thankfully the rain came and went as it did. Valdr did something right for a change XP <3
- Time between things. I personally thought things were spaced out well. Gave time to let people get drinks and food.
- Shattered Elves. Always is a great challenge when things can get hurt by anything, but hit with the force of a tank to make up for it.
- Citadel. As intimidating as they are, was nice to have them fight along side us through the Shattered. Helped change my view on them.
- NPC's were great <3
- Angel of Dunarthos, so much adorable and cute between Demi, Cat and everyone just being awesome
- Zuul. great orc, fun times <3

No real Con's; all around great weekend, tired as heck but worth it.

Man, awesome event! This was my first non-tavern event so it was neat seeing all of the events and characters and participating on legit quests etc. The Mortegeist event was really tense! Extremely well done! Food was amazing! Can't say enough!

All in all good fun, would get obliterated again. Tongue

Thank you so much to the shapers, NPCs, photo ninjas, marshals, and everybody else who put their time and effort into this event! Site might suck but you guys still provided a great game and it was nice to see everyone.

Pros/Fun Memories:
• The song 'So Ist Es Immer' is cursed and whenever I try to sing it there are either shattered elf attacks or false Mortigeist alarms.
• The fight with the Gem Bear. I forgot nearly all of my defenses, nearly died repeatedly, hopped around on one leg while flailing my swords and also burned through a stupid amount of potions but IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! It was like Dark Souls: Ralinwood Edition. The scariest hits were telegraphed, we had to learn the sort of "dance" to kill the thing and it took FOREVER but damn, that group fist bump at the end was worth it.
• The Mortigeist was great this year. At least he was for the like... 10 seconds I saw him. I'm sad that I missed his apparently horrifying/amazing entrance but the moment the Shattered Elves vanished I wasn't interested in sticking around.
• Nature walks/ritual shenanigans with Janos. One part hilarious, one part feelsy life talks and sound advice.
• "Stop poking my horns."
"What are you going to do, oblit-"
"Want to find out?."
"Nevermind that then."
• The Quail Einher are forever and always the only people in town with any backbone. RP was top notch and that Energized Quail Milk kept me up all night, as advertised.
• Fights seemed well balanced, some of the shattered elves sure gave me a run for my money but when the larger saturday night group hit we had NPC support and it was one of my favourite fights that event. Shoutout to Rio, Will H, Cat and Jen for having especially spooky elves (Jake and Bre's were also fun, they let me get so close), I really like it when people make the shattered elves scary and compelling and tragic rather than just another high statted monster.
• Please stop letting Cat be a rogue type while NPCing it is doing horrible things to my blood pressure.
• Hearing everybody's Morty horror/survival stories the next morning was really fun. I kind of hate that most of the times elves are stuck hiding in the woods for hours twiddling their thumbs (or running for their lives) but hearing how some people interacted with him/barely got away was nice. RIP Maxi.
• "You feel like you're being watched."
"I guess I'll just die then."

Cons:
• pacing Saturday felt a bit slow. I am very adept at zoning out and missing mods as the hooks come and go but a lot of the day was spent milling around and socializing.
• the amount of OOG talk from NPCs is getting really frustrating. Either come out on an RP role to chat or keep it for when the PC is by the NPC camp door/some other obviously OOG place. Infernalism we can at least deal with in game, this we can't.
• a lot of NPCs seemed confused by their own skills/how PC skills worked and weren't asking for clarification, they were just doing things incorrectly. I think many of them were newer and I know the learning curve can be steep but when in doubt about how something works it's better to ask between pops than just try and guess while PCs wonder what's happening
• this is a small one but if a mod is going to use a rather niche/complicated alchemy (cough ambrosia cough) it might be good to have the rules for it on hand for the people who get affected so they don't realize they've been RPing it wrong halfway through the duration.

Thanks again, everybody, great game. RP was top notch, I can't wait for next event on the new site.

Holy moly! Second game in Ralinwood as my Wolven and am learning to enjoy larping again. It is so great! Everyone I got to interact with were so great and ahhhh. Its good.

Shoutouts to everybody for putting up with me and my goofiness.

Super great Mortigiest. Spookin me in the trees. Literally went down a path saw him. Backtracked and hid. Went down path again and hes still there! Backtracked and hid again under a pine tree. Went back again and he was still there but this time moving away! baha following hm around watching him do things was great. So patient. So silent. Literally sits and lets people walk right by. Was so confused by how other people dont see him like 5 feet from them. Is my nightvision that good? Thank you my to my Aja friend in the yellow headscarf for being my sneaking buddy!(im so sorry i forget your name im super bad with names Sad ) The buddy system was so fun. You kept feeding into my ideas and kept me so engaged and in game. Ahhhh was good. Dont think I dropped character at all that whole night.

Super fun things just keep happening to me over and over and Im not sure if Im just getting lucky or not or npc camp is putting things for me but damn got to walk away with a treasure chest and im the pirateyest person around! How do people just let me do things ahhhh so much love.

Npcs you are great and pcs you are great and everything is great!

Loved seeing the armor and things ive donated getting put to use right away. Ahhhh that armor looked so good on npcs. Totally inspires ne to work hard and make more cool things.

My only con was my own fault. I got so dehydrated on that saterday night because i was too spooked to go to my tent to get water and im too proud to ask someone to go with me. Need to carry a bag with water in it from now on. Was so sick sunday morning but still managed to put on half my stuff to go interact one.more time. Hah

Thanks for the great game and i am so excited for the next one!

I really enjoyed this event, well done shaper team and NPCs, I saw some great stuff and was thoroughly impressed.

Pros:
- First and foremost, my campmates, guys, vlad, denemis, leon, izazel, nova, maddox(i guess Tongue), roland, vlads crew, diego(hey I just noticed.. go die... no wonder you always die..) demetria, branya, and the list goes on, you guys make it easy to have fun, thanks so much!
- "what's your title?" "PINECONE PROTECTOR"
- The final bandit bomb mod
- Getting secret messages
- Doing stuff in the woods with Huntington
- Being called a coward by einher dudes
- two-manning a shadow realm mod after the same einher got spooked
- hanging out at best camp, man we ate like kings
- showing hospitality and a measure of protection and just general
fun goofing around at camp with the einher guys and gals
-Sharing my yummy secret beverages with einher and promptly being called an angel from above
- FAURTLE!
- Everything, literally everything, Branya does
-The Legendary Marek song....
- Did I mention the shadow lands mod? great mechanics, and the npcs did such an amazing job of keeping me tense as friggin hell ( I was certain I was dead)
- Me "I'm just gonna sneak around this corner and get these bandits, oh look there is one sitting just at the edge of the light with it's back turned near our camp...wait...welp.. that elf is gonna be dead.. I'm gunna run now..."
- I cannot praise the Bear fight enough.. jeez.. after prepping for 3 events.. and getting every piece of info I could.. after doing everything I could to get an anchor.. that fight was so worth it, literally at least 20 minutes of 5v1... people died.. spears shattered.. supplies were used (so many potions lol) and then we got it. So. Damn. Fun. Connor.. you literally had steam coming off your body you mad man.. Thanks for providing such a great experience guys, you made all the RP and seeking of the plot so incredibly worth it.
-There's more.. but some things I think are best kept secret Wink

Cons: I dunno... it rained I guess lol..?

Wow what a game. So many awesome things happened to my character, some good , some bad. I must say and even greater time NPCing the weekend.Since I got do so much happened I'll the highlights and concern I had.

PC : The good stuff
Getting eaten by un-dead and living to tell the tale.
being part of the hook for the mod.
Losing an ear Goblins
joining a group I think.
my combat really improved by weekend end
Starting my Swashbuckling training. Did pretty good actually
Completing my character goals. Not dying and looting .
OOG: The good, the bad and the ugly

Getting Red training.
It might be my fault maybe, I don't know. I might have missed the hooks so the pacing seamed off. I know lot went out while I was NPCing.
It's been a growing concern of mine and hopeful others. It's difficult to feel included by some of the players. It might just everyone getting caught up in their own game . When you play by yourself it can be difficult to break into some groups. I'm not saying active exclusion, I would hope not anyway.Although some player are better at making everyone feel included. I'm not taking about Npls or the shapers in way.
ok the was bad stuff now the stuff.
The balance between the mundane and supernatural is really great. It give a chance for everyone to play and feel useful.
Last bas thing. The meta gaming this weekend. To be fair I was sometime guilty of although I tried not to do it. but it is contagious. Also OOG was bad too. talking about past game by Npc which can lead to meta. I know I'm a Knoob, I'm sure if I it's right if say this things.
Npc the good stuff
the fight ring, it was a blast
Do some Rp Npc.
WearingDan's Gambesons. I have new craft projects. The girlfriend might want to do as both harm lol.
Being part of a Shaman ritual.
Over all it was my second best game so far. I really enjoy that I really understand more of the rules. I really think Rp was so much better the weekend. I was kind disappointed didn't play make-up character. I so looking forward to that. Someday!
I don't mean to sound negative. I Really did have great time.
