Got to say, minus the cold weather I had a great time ^w^

Pro's;
-Dude with the massive hammer, holy fuck you scary XD awesome just shooting the shit with you and working on taking things down and also using my life device on you, so worth it XP

-Killing a Red-Cap!! Had help keeping me in the fight (you know who you are and you are awesome) but felt like a well earned fight, fuck was it NOT easy XD

-Getting paid for smithing, I know people kept asking me for smithing and Wizwik doesnt mind doing it for free, but it was really nice to have some coin my way from time to time =3

-The use of smoke-makers (Flares?idk) for the witch burning, that was dope XP

-omg SO MUCH FAE BULLSHIT! kinda hate/love when I get to wail on Fae X3

-The general roleplay with new and old players =3

all in all great time ^w^ -flops dead tired-

I have to say, this event was mindblowing. I am stoked for the continuation of the plot!

Pros!
- Amazing new reps, courtesy of the super talented Brittany! This map is going in a frame on my wall between games, no joke. The book is fantastic and the RP that came from it was some of the best I have had in a long time.
- RP in general, I actually got so immersed in this event that I was actually confused for a moment when someone asked me for "clear sticky alchemy" had to try and remember what and where my packing tape was, and then remember that it was in my car lol SorryNotSorry
- Cat! Sitting with you and the small group of rotating people trying to piece together the puzzle was amazing, and I almost forgot that we apparently hate each other
- Leadership! Having a bunch of people actually coming up to me to get instructions and following them was fun and challenging. I wanted to rip out my hair when people would disappear after I JUST F*CKING SAID WE ARE LEAVING!
- This event was amazing in all aspects, from the simple crunchies to the more indepth npc roles, you all do an amazing job time and time again and thank you so much!

Cons!
- Tavern Sad The food was decent, don't get me wrong, but by the time I got to it there was barely any soup left and it was kind of cold. I know, I know, Im biased, but I really did miss having our usual Tavern. So lets all say it together....Jannika and Dehclan are never allowed to go to Cuba during an event again!
- Lack of tables / Chairs, I found myself dying for a place to sit and rest my feet several times and finding nowhere. There are only so many bunks in the cabins and they always seemed to be full. Also wanted to play some games that were brought, I have a really neat Liars Dice set that was unable to be used due to lack of table space.
- Mud, I know that rain cannot be controlled, I am usually the first to tell people to not complain about it in their review threads, but, is there some way to maybe grab a bucket of water and splash it over the tavern floor next time it gets that bad? Seeing Austin/Sven slipping and breaking his wrist was heart breaking and I'd hate to see other people get injured the same way. Not sure what can be done about it, sand on the floor to add traction maybe? But something please!

All in all, an amazing game that I will be dreaming about for a long time to come. And yes, I will dream about the event, not townsfolk turning into frogs and worms and being eaten by purple birds, Ivanna! Big Grin
Epic NPC Man!! -guitar riff-

I had a really great time this event. I had lots of great RP, both plot related and not! I enjoyed the story, managed to jump right into things and stay pretty well caught and involved up until the end of things. I went on a few mods with predictable consequences (frickin' redcaps), and had fun. I feel like my character is working out like I wanted her to, anyway, which is good!

Particular highlights:
-finding the journal!
-learning more about various PCs
-playing paleographer with the other tablet-reading folks
-running away and hiding from the Final Battle again, but this time with a purpose (though I'm still not sure how that really worked out, for me or anyone else ;p)

I hung out for this event just to mostly listen to other players. So I have a short list here.

Pros: Warm Cabin, Comfy bed, much sleep.
Matty Cameron being so invested in making the game actually fun and unique.

Cons: I had no desire to be involved in the plot line. Between it being Fae, or players dragging shit out and delaying stuff for hours, I feel my time was better spent sleeping. I am probably one of the only ones who has this complaint, but eh, it's valid to say I am so tired of Fae plotlines.

I've been playing this game for a while and I am getting tired of having to justify why everything has thresholds to new players. It makes me not want to bother bringing my friends if they're going to get the joy of sitting around feeling useless. Where is the plot lines for the newer players? They're more important to keep new blood coming in than appeasing those of us who have been there a while.

Even when I heard about mods, and I heard about almost every one that went out, it felt like World of Warcraft fetch quests. Not my cup of tea.

TL;DR= Focus more on your new players, send out fewer thresholds or design more mods that divide players based on levels.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the weather for this event. It was bad, but I was expecting far worse when I heard about the chance of rain, so I'm glad we could play without a nonstop downpour.

The Good
- People were excellent about sharing plot they discovered and gathering together to solve problems. I don't think anyone that wanted to know what was going on was purposefully left in the dark.
- The plots were good, and the entire story was very clear and tied together. All the mods felt important to the story and like we were making progress, and it was nice to have some of the seer's warnings start coming true after months of wondering and fretting over them.
- I got to talk to some people in the cabins I've just never had a chance to interact with before? Sadly I didn't get many names but the chats were great and I hope to meet them again in future games.
- I got really kind and supportive words from some people during and after event. You know who you are and it was really appreciated. Good community.
- Whatever the heck my sister was wearing as the nymph's scarecrow. Very cool mechanism in that mask.
- The healers were on their game this event. Injured folks were quickly passed around to those that could help them from what I saw, including Bast who was getting shafted out of most types of healing thanks to his racial downside. Good job to the various armour smiths as well. I can't think of a time when I didn't see some poor soul with a hammer out.

The Less Good
- I just straight up had no idea when food got set out. I don't know if there's a typical time I don't know about but I missed it completely. That's it, though. I can't think of any OOG issues that haven't been mentioned already or being otherwise dealt with.

Highlights
- Before game with Ronan and Isaac, our two new guys that Adam and I got to hang with the night before. Also seeing Ronan's einher (I have no idea how to spell his name sorry man) hollering at things before smashing them into paste with that hammer was a religious experience.
- Basil/Corrado's singing, and apparently songwiting??? Holy shit dude.
- Maxi Del in general, but especially his reaction to watching someone being burned to death, which was exactly what you'd imagine a sheltered upperclass High Elf's reaction to seeing someone being burned to death.
- A certain someone trying to pickpocket me when I asked them to get something out of my belt pouch.
- Angry Blank.
- "MY FLOWERS".
- Hearing about the exploits of various characters. Special shout out goes out to Grym's new boat and orcish nonsense.
IG: A human man in a crow skull mask, grey stole, and black clerical vestments. Occasionally carries an iron or silver dagger, but more often seen without any visible weapons or amour to speak of.

OOG: Danny Heintz, he/him. Transmasc in progress, please disregard mine bræsts.

This is aimed at Dacian.

As a paying customer who pays to be entertained as well I am going to say that you are wrong that regulars that have shown loyalty to the game for months or years are less deserving of being entertained as new players to the game. If you want to sleep because you aren't interested in the plotlines then that is your choice. As a player who has been attending since the first game there are still creatures that even I can not hurt due to a lack of magic weapon so am in the same boat as your friends. For you to say that anyone who pays to come out to the game is less deserving of being entertained than your friends and other newer players is bullshit. I had a few other choice words for you but will keep them to myself.

What you should have said was that there needed to be a better mix of things for newer and experienced players alike. Not one group over another.

Reasonable change to the wording there. Works for me. And go ahead and share your words to me, you can reach me.

I am going to point out I am outright asking "What are we doing for new players?"
