This was by far some of the best fun I have had all season.
I still have a numb feeling in my legs... but I am out of shape.
I suprises myself and did a few nightmods- that God for the moon, being a heavy hitter was so much fun!!
I was able to give a great fight -- until the bushes. I really hope your okay Avrile.
SPEAKING of which ::
AWESOME job at taking care of one anther!!
I saw many people jump to help one anther in and out of game-- I saw a lot of love guys.

Alright folks, this was one humdinger of a grand time.
First off, to all the NPCs, shapers, and every one of you lovely individuals behind the scenes of the event, this was an amazing time and I'm glad I made it out. Thank you to all of you.
Secondly, I hope to all the PCs that you and your gear made it through the event alright after that nasty bout with weather.
Now onto the nitty-gritty of it all.
Pros
+ Being able to engage in proper combat for once during a Hallows event. (Lucky Loot Bag pull of Silver Weaponry really helped.)
+ Putting my good eye to use in searching out for delightful goodies and treasures with Haru.
+ Sitting in on the hilarious banter between the Titans. (Puns will be the death of me.)
Cons
- The loot from some of the demons felt rather underwhelming, after quite alot of looting it seems at most many people found RM bits not worth mention or a silver or two, even from the larger demon threats. Might just be cruddy luck at loot but it just felt like alot of people were getting next to nothing.
- At times it felt kind of too quiet, not like a foreboding quiet, just a stretch of too quiet. Not exactly a con but it felt like the time could have been filled with something small perhaps.
MVP Moments
- Taking a treeline dirt nap to avoid dying the first night to Banshees.
- Giving Gnar a fright when I pulled out my Slay next to him out of nowhere.
I can't wait to have a grand ol' time at High Winter, still gotta choose who's coming to give you all some company. It's so tough to decide....Maybe a poll will help me figure it out.

Well, fuck. I barely slept at all over the weekend, so I am likely to forget a bunch of stuff, but I'll try to mention everything I remember, because holy shit was it all amazing. One of the best games I've had. Sorry, some of this will probz be sappy.
Some of my favourite things:
- Falcon's beautiful descriptions of my auguries
- Matt literally gluing a mask to his entire face
- Kiddie pool of blood. "I don't want to go in there." "You definitely want to go in there." "I DON'T THINK I DO. ;.; "
- Julia: "Hey, gimme your face for a sec, I need to draw lines all over it"
- The NPC makeup in general was super swanky
- Gurr, the actual best bodyguard
- Walking around in a towel for two hours because it was demon-o'clock and I was not allowed to sleep until they were dealt with, apparently. ;.; Character goals achieved!
- The purple-eyed stilt demon was the coolest looking thing, holy crap
- And getting judged by tar and found wanting. Harsh!
- The seven sins/two unforgivable sins demons. I loved figuring those out. Ralinwood has wonderful RP NPCs. Also mediating for Sureeta and Rachel made me super happy
- "Okay, roll for your success in the orgy"
- Angela was Superbia as fuck. Awesome
- Invidia was super fucking cool
- The Butcher was just some straight up, old school horror. Very cool
- The vampires were great, partly because of their excellent RP, and partly because of how nobody could answer their questions and they were like "Wtf is this dumbass settlement doing?"
- Hiding in the woods. I love it when town scatters
- Magnar
- Dragon Wagon cabin was so much fun
- Magnar and Aeval
- Attackos. Everything about that. Holy crap
- "Laugh or die" was pretty damn great, too
- Getting to have a puppy for a little bit, even if it was a mistake
- Getting kidnapped by one demon on the way to chat with a different demon
- The Heintz siblings were so much fun to hang out with, and the snippiness between them was hysterical
- My loot bag tag was an alchemy RM tag I remember bringing from Jericho. That was fun
- Chatting with Bast. That was some excellent RP that kept getting interrupted (though I had to kill that bear)
- Tea with Kyrem and Svenheim
- Gnar was a sweetheart
- Civilised discussion with Dehclan
- "How many fucking people are hiding in the woods beside Maximus's henge?"
- Chatting with Akiko is always super lovely
- Sunday morning's final mod
I'm sure there's a ton I've forgot.
Because I must find something to complain about:
- Sad I missed the mermaid, super sad I missed the Sunday gate argument
- People getting irked by me asking them Demonic Arts questions. It is kinda nitpicky, but demon NPCs should know if they are lesser/greater, and if they are a specific subtype of demon or just a generic demon demon
Shout out to Brian, for letting me duel the bear. I cannot describe how vindicating that was. Everything I've seen you do as a Shaper has been both excellent and frequently hysterical.
Thanks to Justin for being so incredibly concerned with how things are going for players, and always trying to keep things interesting/fun - and for creating intricate characters even when most players will never get the opportunity to notice things like the wood fae mindset.
Ivanna's roleplay as both Aminata and Neviah was wonderful, but I especially loved how terrified Aminata was when she was trying to take off the bracelet. Fab acting.
Dan, you are insane. Kiddie pools of fake blood NOT BEING ENOUGH FOR YOU insane. I don't know how you manage it, but thanks.
All in all, if I have to retire because of what happened Sunday morning, I can't imagine a better game to go out on.

This was my favorite event so far for so many reasons. Everyone behind the scenes should feel really proud. You guys pulled off an amazing game right from the get go and it was such a great way to end the season. Have a lot of great memories so just going to list a few.
Pros
- Loved how Friday and Saturday night felt different. Friday was more 'run and hide because if we find you you're dead'. Saturday was still scary but not everything was trying to kill us the moment it saw us so we got to see some of the amazing costumes. And they were amazing!
- Forging the magic sword with the other legendary smith! Thank you to everyone who thought of that and decided to include Roland. That sword looked amazing and it was so much fun to actually try real blacksmithing and rp that I had helped make the sword. All of Roland's crafting happens behind the scenes between games, so to be able to make something right then and there for all to see was such a treat! Thank you!
- Melody and getting her to wear her damn armour. Had so much fun rp'ing the entire weekend with her and some of the looks we were getting from people with the hand holding and such was so much fun. BACON!
- Dragon wagon cabin and all the crazy creatures that visited us.
- Almost got dropped in a great one on one duel with Rachel's npc lizard thing. Most people wouldn't think that would be a pro, but for a smith who rarely fights it was super exciting. By the end of it we were both rp'ing being exhausted and on our last legs.
I could go on but then this would turn into an essay.
Cons
- None. Even the cold weather didn't bother me because I was having so much fun.
Thanks again to everyone who made this event happen. Can't wait for high winter!

Quote:actually there is one tiny thing: if a shaper/NPC is staying in a cabin that's totally cool and I respect that but maybe tie a white cloth to the bunk so I can tell if the demon teddy is waiting to do horrible things to me or if the poor guy who was wearing that getup all night just passed out for some well-deserved rest. Cause I experienced both.
Just to Clarify a few things, there is an out of game Cabin made available for shapers and NPCs. I can't rule definitively , but I suspect if you ever see a shaper sleeping in a PC cabin instead they are probably there for a specific reason and you can probably assume they are in game unless clearly marked otherwise.
Specifically in the situation you mentioned I can offer very specific clarity. If I am going to spend a lot of my night tent raiding sleeping PCs it is only fair that they have their chance to get some payback. Odd that no one chose to seize the opportunity.
I also have spent many happy years in Suvant.

Where to begin. Out of all of the all hallows I have participated in, this one by far was my most enjoyable. At present it is also my favorite Ralinwood game. There was enough balance between heart pounding terror at night, to the fun comical stuff durring the day. There was allways an underlying seriousness that blanketed the entire event however, that forced people to interpret. If read correctly you lived. It not, well... Nuff said.
One of the things that is done here that I truly appreciate is the forced meal times. I have seen over the years people being medically pulled due to a lack of eating and drinking. I myself have spent a ravenous and stomach ganwing night hunkered down in a swamp or worse. Hear in Ralinwood, the players and NPCs eating and drinking is taken very serious, as it should be.
I love Ralinwood. I love the product you put out. Log has been an absolute sucess. Thanks Brent for going above and beyond.
I don't really have any cons. I truly had a great game from start to finish.
Thank you to all the NPCs and shapers and Owners for a fantastic game. Iam all ready pumped for next season.
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

This was my first Ralinwood event, and I have to say, based on this weekend past, I will assuredly be returning for more. The Shapers and NPCs did an absolutely fantastic job keeping us immersed, guessing, running, fighting, laughing, screaming, the whole shebang. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for such a wonderful first impression.
Some of my favourite things include:
- "Begin Ritual" *stomp stomp stomp* "Ritual fails." <-- Seriously, my favourite moment all event. I couldn't stop laughing until after they'd left.
- The constant "Captain Jack Sparrow" jokes
- Flapjacks! Thank you so much to the tavern and Mama for the delicious food
- Running from a vampire, trying to push it back only to hear "With +25 strength I resist?" "OH OKAY THEN GOOD NIGHT"
- The bear. All I need to say.
- The spooky eyes in the forest at night!
- Dragon Wagon
- Being invited on the tiny insta-mod because y'arr
- The death threats, so good!
- Succubus Orgy ("POOOOOOOOOOPER")
- The butcher! That poem and build-up was phenomenal
- Giant stilt-demon! That costume was the COOLEST
- Always cool to see Lvl 111 again, guy is a boss
- That final mod was awesome, definitely didn't see the twist ending coming! Awesome RP afterwards, too
I'm looking forward to returning to see what you crazy bastards roll out with next.

This was a great game! Very happy to have been able to attend as a visiting character.
Lots of pros,
Costuming was amazing you guys are raising the bar from tabards and foam masks and I love it. I don't think I saw a single NPC whos costume I didn't like.
You have a great player base, so many rp opportunities, literally almost everyone asked about Roland and Melody holding hands and it was hilarious each time. Furthermore Sean, wicked awesome RP all weekend
Dragon wagon. I've seriously missed camping with a group of people and the shenanigan rp that ensues.
Being Camp Mom and having Aaron/Theo make sure to feed me so I'd eat.
Attackos. Yeah it's run fight hide, but sometimes Stupid o'clock makes the entire game worth it.
Variety in baddies, not all demons made for a need of different solutions and strengths.
Only con I had was addressed and is being looked into.
Melody is a wild elf that has a tattoo of a crow on her face and a glowing gold mark on her cheek.

I'm seeing a common complaint being that loot was sparse. This confuses me greatly as we gave out so much of my coin that if you people don't start giving it back i will have to do another order for coin reps before next season...
