Orc Threat

"Brennus has some news about our southern neighbors. Might go t-raiding if it is useable."

[Brennus]

*brennus pulls out a detailed map with somr crude additions around an area with a green frowny face*
This area here is where the orcs have set up their forward mining operation.

*he points to several smaller areas circled around the main camp*
These areas here and here are traditiinal migratory routes for deer herds this time of year, orc hunters will no doubt be out scouring the area to keep the camp fed.
*he points to a river and then to another area north of the camp*
The camp receives supplies from the mountains via this water way and i have been informed that they are currently clear cutting a road north to the mountains which they use to ship the ore they are mining. No doubt in preperation for a spring offensive.

If we harrass their hunters and attack their supply lines we can begin to starve the camp out. And after that we take the mining operatiin for ourselves. The money from the mine should have the nobles interested im helping.

He leans back and looks at those listening*

[Sigurd Vask]

"It could work. We just need the folks to back the idea."

[Alaxel Vane]

Alaxel chewed the jerky and looked over the map. "I am quite certain that their supply lines will be guarded closely. Picking off the hunters is a good start, but slow. With so much activity and smoke, the deer would avoid these areas like the plague and the hunters would have to go farther afield to get their meat anyway, so easy pickings for the Einhar."

She drew a line along the river thoughtfully. "Now, water on the other hand is important. In preparation for any offensive, if this river flows to no friendly encampment, we could poison it. Or at least make it so that when the mine is assaulted, the orcs will be ill and pose less of a threat." She shrugged as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

[Stefan]

*Stefan approaches and hovers his head over Grimnir's shoulder*

"Jarl Reiksson. Jou be needing assistance with ze greenyskins?"

[Sigurd Vask]

"Once we have a plan, aye. I want to cause losses but incur none." Grimnir stares at the map and frowns. "Brennus. How viable is hit and run?"

[Stefan]

*He laughs and slaps his own knee*

"Vhy you no say so. J'yes, wise elder" *He gestures to Brennus*

"How viable is zat tactic for being? I solve problem"

[Alaxel Vane]

"Beware of awakening a hornet's nest before the wasps are asleep from smoke." Alaxel intoned softly.

[Brennus]

*Brennus looks to alaxel*
The nest is awake and if we don't do something its only going to get bigger and meaner. the only way to put this to bed is with magic and steel.
*Brennus squints at the ajaunti*
Son you sound like you have peanut butter stuck to the roof of your mouth, can't understand you any better then that sven kid.
*Looking back to grimnir*
Hit and run on the hunters and the road workers is a good start i think, also as a way to gather more info on the base and numbers as well. I've got eyes and ears out and about but no guarantee they will come up with anything more solid then what we have now.
