Playing Grimnir was amazing, and really brought LARP back to life for me!
Pros: -Minimal downtime -The game had a very organic flow and evolution - Tons to do, tons of plot, unique moments - My guy is reconsidering his god because of the actions of the people who FOLLOW that god as well. They unsettled him to an extreme that I can't even begin to summarize. - Combat. Oh my. I love that the PC/NPC ratio is so close. - Almost dying on the friday night. I had 2 seconds left in my bleed when I got a heal. - The RP and costume standard was amazing, made immersion really easy. Cons: Nothing really leaps to mind except I was craving meat something fierce.

Pros-
lots of help for my first NPC shift, had a ton of fun doing that. The blood moon elves were impressive. There hiding and sneaking skills were great. Being blessed by cassan with slower and smaller was really interesting. great friends, new and old. glad to be apart of this group. cons- rain sucks ass.
Vengeance, the only answer to a world led by merciless gods.

Pros
- camp mates and RP with them was awesome! - pancakes and crumpets and tea! - "this town is so moist and shinyless." - making new friends in town - running in fear for my life - the double-cross that lead to a "oh fuck" moment - losing track of Ishmael during the attack at night that lead to a few "of fuck" moments - the real truth behind Thunderboxes being revealed! (Constantine knows what I'm talking about) - stories about digging holes and peeing in them... o.O - doing an NPC shift! Surprising, eh? But it was fun! Dunno if I'll do it again, but... we'll see. Cons - none that I can think of

Great event! It was my first full event at Ralinwood. Although most of my fellow fire elves were missing, it was cool how it forced me to interact with people I might not have.
Pros: - Non-stop action. Still the best thing about Ralinwood. There were times when we had a backlog of 4 things to do. Constant crunchies. - Good treasure distribution. Even animals had RM tags. - Self-serve coffee. 'nuff said - Staff and NPCs are always friendly and happy to answer questions. - I think I heard one "hold" all event, and it was far in the distance during a big fight. - Weather was close to perfect for larping, minus some rain on Saturday morning. - Good use of different monster abilities. I was blinded, hamstrung, sucker punched, dodged acid, infliction, etc. - NPCs seem to really know the site by now, they're making the ambush-alleys very deadly. - Good costuming on NPCs, rarely we had to ask "what do I see?" Cons: - Lots of acid. Our camp was attacked 3 times in a row by different monsters who all threw it. "8 acid" is a lot for level 1-3 characters, when it goes through shields and armour. This was probably just bad luck, though. - Dustin is a jerk. See you in Oct!

Pro's
I'm getting more of a chance to get to talk with players and shapers who are more experienced than me. I'm enjoying learning from you all. The inter character conflicts were interesting to watch and be part of. The out of game issues with our campsite were handled very professionally by staff. The plot was really intriguing, I'm interested to see how many of the stories I saw end. Cons I wish I'd had more notice about the cabin rentals, that seems like a great luxury that we'll definitely take advantage of!

Great game
Action packed. There were times where 3 important things were happening and I couldn't decide which to focus on. There were times when I thought all was lost and a few of us barely survived and other didn't. The battles, stories, npc rp roles are all very versatile. The rp across the board was superb. Heather promise to work out the day before the event so I can crack jokes and watch you keel over! Barley saved my bacon in other ways. The effort and detail of the stories developing is very appreciated. I was sad Michelle couldn't go. Thanks Ted for checking in for me.

pros:
had my first npcs shifts and had a BLAST! i got to be a kobold TWICE! ![]() machismo's bear! being a blood elf saturday night and living for what felt like forever. and scaring a few pc's - assisting with all the paranoia. awesome. and being the skele at the end of the night on saturday was fun too, bothering whoever was awake still at muintir. fighting a bunch of murkers without armour and getting into an ig argument with maeven. ![]() cons: rain. does that count? no fire friday night. never went on any insta-mods, but we never went out and looked for any, so its really our own fault!
