Uther is correct if we tried to do this on our own many if not all of us would die in the attempt. the main land won't send soldiers for this back water and even if they did they wouldn't be able to set sail before the autumn seas turn bad. They wouldn't mobilize until the spring and by the time they got here we'd be bones and old meat. This is something we're going to need to settle in house.

You're right of course in principle doyly but generally the older and bigger the orc the more aggressive they are. And orcs will almost never negotiate if they are the ones in a position of strength.

Callum noticing Brennus's question walks to him and replies. "Poorly lad, the Gremel and those who came to their aid took heavy casualties." Callum pauses for a moment "I believe their leader said they lost roughly half their tribe."

A Gargylen with a broken left horn, favouring a shield, and has a child like wonderment towards everything. He is also Head of the Hospital Guard, and due to recent events his Horns are now Blue and slightly sparkles.

Well that's one group who will be of aid to us but with that many casualties it will be in a support roll no doubt and that's assuming the lords and lady will even entertain the idea of alliance

Callum turns to Doyly. "The orc tribes attacked them lad, We saved as many as we could but both sizes lost heavily. I had a friend take his final breath that day and left us to meet the Gods."
Callum turns his attention back to Brennus, "Hopefully they will assist but I am not sure they be in any shape to help. We will be needing to shore up the towns defense before they be coming for us".
