"I don't have a formal church. My priestly duties involve a good deal of wandering around, waiting for my kin to approach me. I feel honoured to say that I have helped guide the faithful on occasion."
He tilts his head from side to side for a moment in consideration. "If I did have such a church, I would wish to establish communication with the Church of Dietremen in Jericho, should one exist. However, I'm not sure how well I would have gotten on with the now disbanded Jericho Dark Church as a whole, or if there would wish me as an ally in return. There is that whole wrinkle where we're technically at war with them, and that they're led by followers of a god whose worship is forbidden in our lands."

Their very existence is a threat much like silver is a threat to Therians. However, from my very limited personal experience and knowledge, Dietremen does not appear to be militant or champion the crusade against the Firstborn unlike others. However, with rumours of the emergence of the Star Dragon--Isanna?--and Shiloth's continued activity, there seems to be an increasing amount of pressure on Dietremen's spheres of influence. Do you feel that we could see Dietremen and his followers take on a more active role in the God's fight against the Firstborn? Or do you think Dietremen's role will remain as is? Granted it is entirely possible he is taking on an active role, but as a master of shadows, his presence simply goes unnoticed." He pauses "I know for me, my teachings encouraged me to preserve beauty. And I find many Firstborn to be beautiful so I see it as my duty to help them when I can. As a Dietremen follower, is there the same possibility for co-operation or do you think you will always be in a state of conflict?"

Carrion shakes his head. "I don't know if there will ever be peace. It seems unlikely, when the very existence of the gods brings the dragons pain. I can empathize with that. I have no strong ill will towards the dragons of their followers, because like you said it is not something my god asks of me.
"And as for Dietremen's role in it all, I cannot begin to guess. You're right that he could be already working in secret, but it could be just as true that he simply doesn't care. He has always shared the shadows with Shiloth, and Isanna is... passive."
