A Ship Arrives (TS June 2)

[Michelle]

In the early afternoon a dark speck is visible on the horizon by those who look out to sea. As the day progresses, it draws nearer until it can be seen clearly as a large ship. Spiteful Jessamine arrives in the bay and drops her sails. Two rowboats are lowered to the water. Once they're in the shallows a few men jump out from each and pull them ashore.

[Briar Toras]

Briar walks towards the boats, lending a hand to pull them ashore and eyeing the men carefully, "May I be of help, sirs? Whom do you affiliate with?"

[Romanof]

*approaches Briar's side and waits for the men*

[Theo]

*walks out from the forest and looks over the new people*

[Myra]

*approaches with Theo, and stays mostly behind him, peeking out at the ships and people*

[Promises]

Sevatar approaches, but stays back with the rest of the (presumably) gathering crowd to watch the people descend from the boat.

[Maximus]

*follows Mrya and Theo, stands off to the side to get a good look at whats going on*

[Michelle]

*The closest sailor turns to Briar once the boats are landed.*

Many thanks, friend. We serve the lords and lady, same as you folks. We're needin' fresh water aboard, but with the storm coming tonight we wasn't sure whether we'd be better takin' our chances aboard Jessy or on land. Are you folks much secured yet?

[Briar Toras]

"Secure as we can be without a proper garrison, I am heading night patrols myself, generally alone," he shrugs and gestures to the gathered people, "Help these men with fresh water! I will see what the Tavern can spare in a moment." Eyes tracing back to the sailor and offering him a hand, "Briar Toras, I hope we can help you, but I must ask, is there plans to dispatch armed men and women to the beaches in the future? We're having the civilians mentioning Murker issues."

[Myra]

*frowns at Briar as he issues orders, then moves closer and smiles at the sailors, looking them up and down for visible injury or disease*
"Hi! Um, do any of you need any medical attention? And please don't try to be all manly and say no if it's a yes, there's no shame in staying healthy."
