Tending to the wounded (Aug 15th After midnight)

Sevatar watches the gas and frowns. He read Zaydesh's message and looks back at him. "We don't know how far the demons went. They may be safe. They may not. We control only this situation and so it is the one I will focus on."

[Zaydesh Hakaar]

*wipes away the tears, walking over to his banner. He puts it on, and proceeds to walk back over to Aminata*

[Aelin]

- Demon-Hunter Andreya - (a lean, lanky human woman, she looks to be in her mid to late thirties.  She has purple hair that goes to about her shoulders, tied back in a little ponytail.)

The faint clatter of light steps on the roof of the tavern is barely audible for a moment before a grey, black, and rust-clad blur drops down from the edge of the patio.  She hangs by her hands for a second and then drops with a quiet thump to the grass.  Quickly, the Demon-Hunter steps into the shelter of the patio's awning, rubbing her arms from an apparent chill.

Looking worse for the wear, her face and arms bruised and crackled with streaks of dried blood, she limps over nearer to Aminata, Sevatar, and Sven, one arm curled around her ribs protectively.

"Can see part of the rift from up top," she mutters darkly. "They're still coming through.  Burning the forest while they're at it."  She paused for breath before continuing.  "Looks like the gate's gotten bigger since the battle, but the rate of growth looks to be slowing down a lot now."

[Wizwik]

-Wizwik walks over- "Want your armor fixed?" Wizwik holds up his smithing hammer

[Promises]

Sevatar raises his head and looks over at Andreya. "When a demon stirred last time you were here, it caused nightmares for a few months. This has happened so much more quietly. Did we miss something?"

[Aelin]

- Demon-Hunter Andreya - (a lean, lanky human woman, she looks to be in her mid to late thirties.  She has purple hair that goes to about her shoulders, tied back in a little ponytail.)

She gives Wizwik a faint nod before returning her attention to Sevatar.  She quietly mused for a moment, and  a dark look crossed her face.

"The signs should have been obvious...painfully so." She murmured.  "Perhaps...perhaps you have a turncoat."

[Quiet]

*sven shoots Sev a look before handing the demon hunter a (new cure light wounds potion i haven't gotten the tag fixed yet sorry)

[Wizwik]

-Wizwik nods and goes to work on repairing the armor-

[Promises]

"We haven't seen the new noble in ages. Are any of the advisors trapped in here with us?"

[Aelin]

Andreya shakes her head. "The lord and the three advisors were at the pavilions right before we left. I spoke with them then, but haven't seen them since."

She took the potion from Sven with a nod of thanks.
