*Ludvic pauses staring intently at the gnome. His attention pulls away as he addresses the crowd.*
"Everyone, Thank you for offering to assist. We are venturing onto the ocean. Captain Aldiritch has been taken by the Salamanders and something larger. Of all of us he has had the most experience fighting these yet was still abducted. The Salamanders are fae creatures of the winter court. Callum must kill one to free himself of a dept. If we are in a position to kill one and the situation is controlled I ask that he be allowed to strike the final blow."
*He pauses here giving Callum a nod before continuing*
"The priority here is to rescue the captain. Extinction can come when we are more prepared. Being fae iron will hurt them most. Any weapon should work. Surround the creatures and strike as a team. Nature magic has been very successful on them. The can charm people so always keep a buddy. If you have enchanted items they can sense them and are hunting them. This will put you at greater risk so you may want to consider leaving it behind.
