Midday at the Pavillions (Thursday, noon)
#51
Primrose raises her hand as if to ask a question.

"Um... My Lord and Lady, oh! And you, sir," she bows her head at the Navy Officer. "I wish to inform the three of you that myself and this man here," she lowers her hand and points to Kraye. "-have information about the attack coming from the North. When you wish us to share it, please let us know."

Farraday turns to Aminata a moment of confusion on his face when she introduces herself.

"Lady  Gomorrah, I was not aware of your presence here. I have however had gotten your man Brennus' account second hand."

He then turns to the assembled citizens.

"As the navy has become aware there is a massing of ferral orcs to the south poised to strike at the foundling settlement of Ralinwood. I have been sent by the First Sea Lord himself to investigate this matter and return with my recommendations."

"I am sure I do not need to tell you citizens of the strategic value of this settlement. As the Duvain's northern most port, the importance of this settlement is only growing the escalation of political friction with Berphaunt. It may become very important that this settlement remain available for resupply of the navy."

"My most pressing concern at this time is the lack of information we have regarding our foes. I have been informed that the Orcs are well equipped and in vast numbers, but in the two weeks I have been in this settlement I have not received so much as single first hand account."

"With such a lack of relevant information I find it very difficult to determine the best course of action at this time, and even worse I am unsure over the recommendations I should be making to the Sea Lord. For this reason I have asked the Triumvirate to assemble the citizens to hear the concerns and voice of the citizens of Ralinwood."

Grimnir steps forward and looks at the Officer. "I can offer you my information. I intended to seek you out but have been occupied preparing what I can for this war."

*Rolin emerges from the treeline, with a wink to Accalia and Shadolas. He bows deeply towards the lord and lady. He steps aside to join them to catch up on what he has missed.*

Give me a spyglass, a four day's worth of dried rations in oil tarps, and a few carriable barrels of black powder or oil and I'll take Rangor and Sven, if their willing, to go get you some first hand knowledge of how things are at the mine currently. And, if all things go well, sneak in and use the powder or oil to drop the ceiling to the entrance to the mine if possible. Or cause as much grief to supplies and arms as possible without getting caught.

Farrady addresses Grimmnir

"You had best give us a summary now, the time for holding tightly to information is passed."

He then turns to Drakkon

"There has been recent reconnaissance of said mine and their security was extensive and quick to respond. With them on the alert I don't rate your chances of success very high. Not to mention I left my powder back in duvain."
