Prim smiles. "Physician. I could never get the hang of magic. I've just learned how to reattach limbs, hence my further reading on the skill."
She's quiet for a moment, swinging her legs back and forth. She looks down at her notebook, and turns back to previously written on pages. The writing is large and in all capitals, much like the writing on the notice board.
"You said you run on donations? Do you pay your doctors?"

"We do whenever we can. Usually it's just a couple silver every month, but most of our donations go straight to paying the healers and the guard. We have a small memorial fund recently created to buy scrolls for the hospital's use, and I guess whatever else we might need.
We had a noble patron up until a few months ago, and he helped provide us with alchemical healing potions we could use to help the town. Unfortunately, terrible circumstances befell him, and I think he probably died valiantly."

Prim's smile fades. "Ah, that's too bad. The dying part, I mean. Also the not having much coin. If it would make things easier, do not worry about paying me. I mean if you can spare it I won't object, but I have more than enough coin to care for myself."
She frowns after a moment, and she mutters under her breath. "This is all assuming he hasn't run off with my gold... that is."

Prim tilts her head, but eventually shakes it with a laugh. "Oh, I'm honoured for the offer but I'll give it another week or two before looking into where he is. I know he had a lot of business to attend to before coming here."
She smiles fondly and rests her chin in her free hand. She glances towards the tavern window. "He should be here within the month, at least. I trust him."
