Something that crossed my mind that I couldn't find in the rule book. When you want to make a Bastard Sword it said 1 or 2 handed. Now correct me if I'm wrong but I just thought that the damage only goes from 2 normal to 4 normal if you go from wielding it with one hand to two hands. Do you have to set the damage for it being purely a single handed weapon or a double handed weapon?
