The Jarl requests that on a field of battle you treat those who fight beside me as though they are myself Bjorn.
how can I trust someone to have my back if they feel they can not trust me to watch theirs? if we are to survive as a settlement we need to have each others backs on the battlefield despite what ever our differences may be.
I will not order you to take on personal orders for anyone, but I ask you not punish individuals when it is time to fight for what we call home.
