An arrival from abroad cont. Skein gate
#51
The jaguar thins her mouth slightly at the mention of dragons but she nods her head once. "I am recently come to divine myself however tolerance, and most especially tolerance of races and faiths is something I hold dear. I've pushed back in the lifeblood or guts of many a person who would sooner run me through with a blade. And I did it with a damned smile too."

Her ears suddenly perk up and she queries Sevatar, "You said Hospital? You mean to say you have more than 1 physician in this town? Are any master level doctors such as myself?"

Sevatar's eyebrows raise at the mention of divine. He sighs shortly thereafter. "We have a few healing casters, some semblance of guards to protect them, and I think...One physician left. An Orc named YaYa. There's a few others, but, they come and go, or have just begun refining their skills. I couldn't really tell you how good YaYa is."

Nodding at Sevatar's reply Dusara looks to Corvus. "Perhaps master Corvus it was well we stopped here for supplies. Should we survive this....task...at Melinda I should think I'd like to return here for a time. It would certainly help the folk here to have an experienced doctor. And with Him behind us in Necris and an ocean between.....I'll have to trust in Zion to see to that. Maybe on this side of the ocean I can find out more on her pride and someone with more knowledge on Lich's than I. If that even is what He has become, I am not sure certain."

"It would be wonderful to have another one, yes. Although I suspect I should ask you more about this 'Him' if you're going to be staying."

The savar's ears wilt and her gaze darts towards the Skein Gate, her skin slightly ripples as if in fear and her ears wilt. "I.....I understand. I have every intention of speaking of it to whoever i may be sharing space with. It is unfair for me to keep knowledge of dangerous things from someone who shelters me. Corvus knows of it and I have sought refuge among his kind for a few months now since my escape and rescue in Necris."

Her eyes shift from the gate and she stares at Sevatar. "But this is not the place where an errant word may travel to another land in a whisper. I already fear that speaking the name of my home country is enough to perk His interest should an ear be pressed to the gate back home. As I undoubtedly believe there must be a gate there, and if there is a gate in that land He would be near."

He watches the Savar while she talks, and purses his lips at one point, before he speaks, "You have entered the lands of Physignathus, and so long as you give some respect to her, you will be afforded every protection I can offer against whatever this person is. The night has grown late enough, however, for talk of such things. Shall I show you and Corvus to a place to stay?"

"That would be nice, in the morning we can find your smith friend. And then stories and drinks. I've been all around this world and can tell stories from most places"

Corvus smiles as he says that

Sevatar warily watches the dingo for a few moments before looking back to Corvus, Wizwik and the Savar. "Let us go, then." He starts walking off in the direction of Emberside.
