I didn't do that much, like 5 or 6 at tops. No one should walk into game naked, especially hallows. Be it a bastard sword or a pair of bracers, everyone should have a fighting chance.
Good, Bad  either way im the guy with the Gasglobe. .

This was my First all hallows and i had a lot of fun! Thank you for everyone in NPC camp who were patient with me arriving a tad late to game friday night, you guys are awesome!

the good
-The first big mod friday night was really cool, the torches and oil drum made us non magic folk feel useful while not breaking the game. Btw, not a complaint just a curiosity, how come we weren't swinging for elemental fire? considering we were using natural fire to ignite our weapons and not magic, maybe i missed something so let me know.

-hilarious and shameless coffin looting at the end lol

-FAE DOORS! such a cool concept and really balanced out the weekend. standing at the fire, everyone kind of bored, someone mentions they have been looking for fae doors, i look up and spot one instantly "you mean like that?" lol

-I was really freaked out when everyone who thought they went into the fae door with me was sent back into game, having been the first one to touch the door, my first thought was, well im dead lol the scenario inside the door was really funny but my orc was not patient enough for the job, ended up taking 40 damage from a bomb that blasted me back to ralinwood and knocked me out for a good minute, so much fun.

-im glad i got to npc this weekend, playing the mist marauders was a lot of fun again, and being a spider running from npc undead was really funny, get the pcs! not me lol

-the battle with the great pumpkin was a lot of fun, challenging but wish there was a little more loot from that mod to go around. great fight.

-the most dramatic part of the weekend was late late saturday night, as we rallyed town, yelling and screaming at people to wake up. the final battle was fun and i thank whosever idea it was to put out once ever magic auras to be used in such a situation, really saved the day, thank you ya ya for giving me yours! Big Grin that mod was one of ralinwoods best moments of standing together and fighting as a town.

-showing Doyly where my tent was so he could use the location to save the lives of a group of pcs. He shall be long remembered as a Hero, and a friend, RIP.

-making small creatures cry sunday morning, you know who you are haha

The bad
-I know its been said so far but that damn porch light on the house near npc camp really messed with me, as i was trying to hide from npc's and was stuck in an area for a long time because that light would have given me away.
-this is at no fault to anyone but i also felt a unfitting sense of safety a lot of the weekend and epseically during large mods that i missed going on, Ralinwood only has so many npc's so the woods cant be full of threats all the time, but its worth noting that it felt out of place to the whole experience.

-injuries, there were a lot, during my npc shift Saturday night i believe i witnessed over 7 injuries, and not everyone understood the proper protocol for them, neither did i at first, but having discussed it with as many people as i could i gathered that this is fair: If you become injured, or are experiencing a suddenly large amount of OOG pain, you have two options, you either take precisely a one minute hold if you think you can shrug it off and only need a breather, OR you must go OOG and immediately seek out a medical marshal to be looked at, for your own safely you must be looked at before going back into game as the injury could be far worse than you can tell. AND as for PC's who witness another pc becoming hurt, you must ask them if they need a medical marshal and if they do your job is to make sure one is on the way as soon as possible, if this is already the case, you cannot stay out of game with your friend pc who is injuired, i saw this a few times over the weekend and it is not okay.

Thats it for now, thank you to all the shapers and Npcs and PCs who made my first all hallows very fun and memorable!

So, this was my first UW all hallows which did not involve H1N1, so right off the bat +100 points!

So, good times this event. I'm glad I spent most of the time NPCing however. My character is pretty inaccessible from an RP perspective in hindsight, and I get nervous as heck meeting new people. Being in character as a weird-ass half-orc, while trying to get to know you guys was kinda nerve wracking.
Being at camp was better though, the staff is super helpful, super accommodating, yelp review 5/5.

In game was a bit slow, but that's my own fault. In game feuds with some characters made it difficult to go on mods, but that's my own fault. It's also new to me to see player-characters who are so straight up fucking evil! It's a new environment for me, that's for sure.

My biggest highlights were Friday nights dungeon crawl from the NPC side. I love a good line battle, and it was a lot of fun trying to kill you all.

After that, it was the wedding.
So, in almost every larp I've played in I've both delivered a baby, and presided over a wedding. I was determined to play a different sort of character this time around, but, lo and behold, I jump at the chance.
But honestly, tons of fun on my end. I don't want to go into too much detail, as it was a huge limelight (ha!) Moment for my PC, and I can't imagine it was much fun sitting around in the cold watching other people have all the fun.

Also, being able to rock out courtly diplomacy against an undead-noble-banshee easily fulfilled one of my character goals.

The third and final most favourite memory, was taking on the pumpkin patch. Running and grabbing the Jarl (forget the character name) sheild, and giving him cover to heavy hit once we both got into the fight. That was pretty epic on my end. I fucking love line battles.

The cons I had were almost entirely social, over coming some awkwardness in being the new guy. I might start a new character, one that doesn't make everyone say "Now you're mistaken, there are no such things as half orcs." after every introduction, but is distracting, cumbersome, and entirely my own fault.

Regardless! See you all next event, I had a blast.
