Hey everyone,
I'm new to larping and eager to try hammering out a blacksmith character. I was directed to the Underworld Builder app but when I tried to download it Chrome said it was malicious and blocked it. Anyone else run into this?

I will admit that I am exactly the opposite of a technical wizard, so I will leave someone else to technobabble about the file type or something. I have however been using the builder for well over a year, and the guy who wrote it doesn't strike me as the malicious type.
All that said, the builder is rather out of date. Feel free to use it for planning and such, just don't be surprised if there are a few discrepancies with the current rules.
I also have spent many happy years in Suvant.

I just tried downloading it with internet explorer and when it did it's check it found nothing so aparently chrome is just picky.
As I was working on the character a "frag" (not sure what that is yet) was listed: battlefield repair... I didn't see a listing for that in the rulebook, anyone know about it?

The UW Builder is not malicious. Your browser settings or your virus software may not like it, but I can assure you that it NOT malicious.
That being said, Brian is right. It is very out of date. It is fun to use to make basic characters, but a lot of the rules have changed since its creation.

I'm not much of a Chrome user but if you use Firefox, you can add exceptions for these types of things. I know that suggesting a different browser doesnt fix your actual problem, but it's free to download and is worth a shot.

I was advised about the same on the Jericho forums. I am not sure why Chrome is flagging it. I'll be honest, I am an amateur and the code is sloppy, but there is nothing malicious in there. Interestingly, this only appears to have come up after I moved it to dropbox.
