Dear Residents of Ralinwood,
This is a notice regarding the yellow cloud that appeared on Saturday, June 22nd and then dissipated.
The pavilions have observed the notes from the squamata outposts, brought in experts from the local populace of the Two-Feather and Am'rath clans, and sought aid from a resident chemist and master physician. All have been exceptionally busy the last few weeks, observing the destroyed canisters and their placement with the aid of townsfolk who witnessed it.
We have come to the conclusion that the Squamata used an assault on the local Two-Feather encampment as a diversion to go around the town, planting disease-distributing canisters and flowers to guard them. By calculations and evidence, four of five canisters were decimated and certain doom was narrowly avoided. If none or fewer of the canisters had been destroyed, Ralinwood would have taken a blow it would never recover from, so the quick action of those who sought the canisters was monumental.
As it stands, only a thin cloud of vapours was able to permeate Ralinwood's environment. Due to forks and small vent holes from an artificial underground stream, much of it has affected the drinking water, the soil and the air. Due to winds and waterways, we observed strains of the vapours stretching all the way beyond the borders of the Two-Feathers and just shy of Bloodbringer Mountain.
Short term contact is not an issue, but extended exposure will result in a disease. Inoculations and other methods of curing disease will not work effectively against it, as it is a persisting ailment, in the ground you tread, the air you breathe and the water you drink. In the next month, expect that you will develop a cough. Your skin will feel thin and you will feel rather weak. (x2 damage from all physical attacks TO BODY (once armour is breached), rp cough and saggy skin aesthetic)
We are seeking a cure as I write this, and hopefully in the next month we will have a plan to combat the disease. We worry that long term exposure will be a greater issue. We will discuss planning phases within the next month, so be ready for that.
