Leaving for a while

Esteemed Friends,

I have been travelling much of late, but now I think it is time for me to uproot myself from this place for a long term and seek new tutelage elsewhere. I have been unable to find a mentor, my apprentice walked into hell, and without Ezra I have no kin to tie me here.

I will visit for a few days next week, Monday through Wednesday to conclude any business anyone may have with me, but will be unavailable for the weekend and leaving Wednesday evening. I hope to stop by Jericho at some point on the way, maybe I will see some of you there.

I have been here infrequently but I want to thank you all for your hospitality, and I hope to see you all in good health in a short few years when I return. May you reap a thousandfold return for your kindness, and may you always know a full cup.

I have delayed my trip but cannot remain any longer. I am sorry to not have had the chance to speak with you. I am setting sail now for Day'ten - or Suvant - to seek tutelage from their magi, I'm not sure which one is which. I shall seek you out upon my return in a few years time.

No matter what happened in the past that you might regret, or rediscover, I beg you consider that now, in the present, everyone here - yourself included - has the potential to be an extraordinary force for the betterment of this tribe. Cynicism is tantamount to admitting defeat, and you can do better. I expect of you that you live up to this potential, every minute of every day until I return; seek to bring out the same in others.  I look forward to seeing how much you will have accomplished when I return.
