New Player Liaisons ("NPLs")
Needed: 4
Head NPL: Dan Finn
NPLs:
- answer New Player questions (on Facebook, answer the NPL email)
- give the "New Player" speech at the start of every game (will be provided) - this includes teaching people how to swing weapons and fight correctly!
- wear yellow armbands during game* to signify that they are available/ accessible IG for New Players to reach out to (*optional)
- receive 5 frags per game (*10 if yellow armband worn)
Other duties may include:
- host New Player socials (as directed)
- host Boffer Build days / Character Creation sessions / Meet-ups
- attend/assist with conventions, festivals, faires and other promotional events
- receive 5 frags per game (*10 if yellow armband worn), 15 per New Player Social hosted (minimum 2 hours), 15 per Builds/Sessions (minimum 2 hours).

Armour / Weapons Marshals
Needed: 4
Head Armour Marshal: Michael Desat
Armour and Weapons Marshals:
- assess weapons and armour at logistics on Friday night
- staff the booth (times organized by Head Armour Marshal)
- may occasionally be asked to assess something during game if there is no marshal at NPC camp
- may occasionally be given a weapon to remove from game if it is found without marshal takes or is visibly unsafe
- receive 5 frags per game*
*must spend minimum 1 hour at armour/weapons marshal booth at game to receive frags

Medical / Safety Marshals
Needed: All of you.
Head Medical Marshal: Julia Perge
Medical Marshals:
- are available to respond when someone gets hurt in game
- pull people out of game as necessary when there is a health and safety concern (this power is used sparingly - you may turn down a Medical Marshal's aid, but if instructed to leave because you may cause harm, you must leave. Issues with this should be reported to ownership).
- return people back into game when the matter is cleared
- must have first aid training that is up to date
- receive 5 frags per game

Needed: 2
Director of Conventions: Ivanna / Angela Scarlett
Conventions team!
We're looking for two (2) people who can dedicate some time to ensuring we hit all the cons we need to hit - in style!
Con Team:
- have stellar costumes, reps and props
- have outgoing, energetic personalities
- can talk positively and answer questions about all our UW Chapters
- attend festivals and faires
- attend Comic Cons and Conventions
- love meeting new people and telling them about how awesome UW is
- run panels (e.g. costuming, makeup, LARP 101, Introduction to LARP) and combat tournaments at events (as directed)
- Receive 5 frags/hour spent at each promotional event attended, plus frags for prep and set up time (up from 3 frags/hour for ad hoc volunteers)
MUST be available for:
- Oxford Ren Fest - June 23-25, 2017

(If you can camp over in a PERIOD tent, all the better. Camping over earns you free admission to the Fest and an extra 20 frags per night).
