As the seasons change and new people grace our shores, I feel it important to remind ALL who attend our town that a system of writs exists for your use.
Writs of protection are available to any visitor to Ralinwood. Writs of protection afford any visitor the rights and privileges of our local and national laws for a three month period. All you must do to obtain one is request one from one of our Wardens, or failing that, are available at the Pavillions from the Regent or one of the nobility. There is no other requirement or prerequisite to obtain one. One may be revoked if you break our laws, so be warned, abide carefully.
Writs will not be forced on the unwilling, but be warned. Without a writ you lose your protections and rights and have no ability to avail yourself of such protections. The Wardens and I can do nothing for you. Be prudent in your choice to obtain or not.
For citizens, writs of use are also available upon request and qualification.
