I thank you for the letter that you have had delivered to myself yesterday afternoon acquitting me of the accusations of murder which I was under.  Forgiveness is given though not needed as I understand that you were only doing what was required of you in your position and what was needed to be done.  I didn't for a moment believe that there was malice in your actions.

This colony is lucky to have one such as yourself sitting in a leadership position.
