Greetings Merchants and Citizens,
Merchants - I have recently lost a silver stiletto to which I have offered a 10 gold reward offer for the return of said silver stiletto as multiple search parties and I, myself, after scouring Ralinwood four times have been unable to locate said silver stiletto. So, at this point, I extend this offer to you as well. Should the withholder of said stiletto approach you in the hopes of pawning the weapon off on you in exchange for other items or a straight sale for coin I am very willing to pay the sum of 10 gold to you for the stilettos return and for your willingness to speak with one of the town's three nobles to divulge the identity of the citizen who is trying to sell off stolen property as the majority of the population knows that only one person in this town carries and wields a silver stiletto.
Citizens - As stated before, I am very willing to pay the sum of 10 gold for the return of my silver stiletto and would be very appreciative of such a gesture. I will accept the return of said stiletto still with no questions asked and will hold no animosity against the one who returns it to me before being caught with it or caught trying to sell or pawn it off. I understand the temptation to keep the item in order to sell, pawn, or keep it out of my hands for a dislike of myself, but, by doing so you only make it harder for me to kill the things that come to this town to kill you and those you care about. It is for the best of all that the stiletto be returned to myself, or one of the nobles if you fail safer this way, than to be caught with my stolen stiletto. Word has spread like wildfire through this colony regarding the lost stiletto and my offer of a reward. Ignorance in this matter can't be claimed. Save yourself the headache and turn it in for the reward. Find me at the cabin closest to the latrines or seek out one of the nobles before it is too late to claim your reward and avoid punishment.
