My first event here and it was so much fun! Love the sight and I love the energy of everyone here. Brennus started as a whatever character I was using to facilitate hanging out with friends I don't get to see often but after playing a weekend he and I are here to stay so stoked.

Cons: spiders. Fewer "I told you so" spider related deaths then anticipated.

I'm so tired but this weekend was just what I needed.

Pros:

+The legend of Donovan Moonfist. 'That'll do it.'
+Fire elf and Avian 'guests'! Thank you for staying with us, you made the weekend even better.
+The RP and plot with the nobles. Very interesting and very difficult decisions were made. I don't think many people I spoke to selected a noble without a bit of a bad taste in their mouth and that's well-thoughtout storytelling right there.
+Bard stories!
+Telling some stories of my own, to the right folks, at the right time.
+All the PC interactions, I had great RP moments all weekend long.
+The tavern!
+The wide variety of loot.

+Special props to the NPCs. One of the biggest strengths of the Ralinwood team is their NPC core. They're dedicated, work hard, and really bring the world around you to life. I didn't have a single RP moment with an NPC that left me disappointed all weekend. You guys set the bar really high and I want to acknowledge how amazing you all are! Thank you so much!

Cons:

-The only con I have is combat related, and that is my dislike for what Mark Berg once introduced to me as 'Face-first crab-style' fighting, i.e. suicidal NPC that stands chest-to-chest with you and gives you a back massage until it dies. It only happened a few times, but after it did I found myself thinking fondly of the 90% of times it didn't happen all the rest of the weekend (thanks for that 90%, by the by, some of the best NPC combatants I've fought in a very long time). Being defensive and mobile results in a more satisfying and theatrical fight for both parties, I find. I'm sure I'm no saint on the RP-battlefield either, so I'm not really here to say we must all be perfect at all times (I have the bad habit of hitting the same 7-8 locations that I picked up from fencing drills). Just something to keep in mind, maybe, if you want to.

I have now played at every Jericho Guild Smile

I had an absolutely amazing time. Costuming from the shaper camp was amazing. The crocodile masks almost made me squee with delight. Makeup was awesome. I love seeing owners and npc alike out there in all the roles.

PRO
- The camp was amazing. I got to PC with Shbe again, and with new people. I loved being able to PC with the mix of familiar, old buddy, and new people. There was some great chemistry of personalities and conversation were never one sided. I see greatness, if not just great times.
- Peresh for mayor! Knew it would have never happened, but I had a blast trying. The secret is out, I just wanted to score a cabin. Tongue
- I personally really like the site. Vehicles are a common sight at both other games if you hang out in the right areas, so I do not even process them as out of place anymore. They are just wagons in my brain.
- Ninja death coffee of the tavern. Wow, I was super awake, then super brick wall hit me.
- Fleeing from Undead. I want to believe oog that they are not a common night time thing, it was a full moon and friday the 13th weekend. Time will tell, and I go to UW to be afraid of things that I can run away from.
- Bravado!
- Spider cave song
- Failed date
- Drunken silly, stopping to throw up and zombies not waiting a minute.
- Blind arrows in the night.
- Drunken Sailors!
- Fast Women. . .

All in all we had a really good weekend. Peresh was in his element with all the politics and social interactions.

I do not have any cons that can be laid at the game's feet. Big Grin
Peresh is an Avian with yellow feathers. He is often seen carrying two curved long swords, and two curved short swords or daggers. He is normally very lightly armored.

Really different from my experiences at Jericho! Mostly because I'm playing a vastly different character..

Pros:
-Very friendly NPCs and shapers (thank you for everything!) and my first NPC shift was a ton of fun
-People getting involved with Savar/Pride politics
-Spider cave
-The drunken pirate NPCs and the explorer NPC that took people out to find instamods
-Lord Vintner's party!
-Finding myself with two dates for Lorn Vintner's party..
-Dasha calling me Pride Mamma

Cons:
-Laughing out of character because of Dasha calling me Pride Mamma
Short Savar woman with yellow fur, black markings and large ears. Wears a long black cloak.

OH MY GOD!

I seriously had so much fun that I have nothing bad to say at all!

+MY MINOTAUR! Seriously could not have found a better partner to spend the weekend with.
+Friday night runaway from all the fights! That was the most adrenaline packed two hours for me.
+8/10 times I went to Emerald camp there was a monster attack within two minutes of me arriving.
+"Hallo friends! It is cousin approaching!" .. "Are you bringing monsters with you?"
+Hookah and stories!
+Going to Dawn's breach, having them say it's been a pretty easy going night and then not five minutes later Spiders.
+Serious debate whether or not Dasha was cursed to attract monsters wherever she went.
+Opening the house and courtyard! I didn't actually think I would get this to go through, how I ended up scoring that wicked camp site is beyond me!
+Spider cave song and the hour that was trying to convince people not to go.
+Making Pride Mama laugh.
+BEST WELCOMING BON FIRE PARTY EVER! Seriously thinking that will become a monthly thing.
+Rp with Iris about how to "entertain" the Lord!
+The camps being so close to each other not only is helpful for fights, but for Character interaction.
+Monsters were sent out at a great pace. It never really felt like there was a lot of "Down" time. Kudo guys!
+Being so tired that I slept through the last battle.

Seriously wicked event, it was exactly what I needed. I feel so sated and sore.

I had a absolutely great event. I was worried that I was going to have a lousy weekend when 3/4ths of my things ended up not making it to site because of an unfortunate circumstance and I'm so grateful to everyone who lent me some costuming armour and ears. so that I was able to pc. We have a great community here already and you guys really made my weekend.

Pros-
The camp was really awesome!
Fire/ice elf jokes all weekend long!
Combat was challenging but not over whelming
PC Interaction was top notch and everyone did a great job staying in character.
Decapitations!
More Einher to interact with!

Cons
Twisting the knee D: Thankfully it doesn't appear to be too bad.

This was a really enjoyable event!
Pros:
+The camp site itself was great, my leg especially loves how level most of the grounds are.
+PC interactions were a blast everyone was great at staying in character.
+The uncanny timing of monsters showing up where ever Dasha and I went.
+Emerald company + fire elves, thanks for saving our asses more often than not.
+I loved the conflicting lord debates, it didn't make it easy to choose, and the rumor mill didn't help either.
+The party held at The Courtyard, we definitely have to do that each month.
+PCs asking me Minotaur questions.

Cons:
I only have one and that is that my tent was caught in the middle of a PC/NPC fight which damaged two out of four poles.
A smaller than normal sized Minotaur wielding a short sword.

Pros::

++My first weekend event!! It was so much fun to do!! It''s like camping but with all the boring things about camping replaced with fight monsters and talking with strange and amazing characters!!
++Not being SUPER NOOB DELUXE ULTRA JUNIOR LARPER!! I actually knew rule calls,, how things worked in town,, and what to do in situations that some others didn''t and I could help them.. That was cool.. Smile
++The PCs!! It was awesome talking to all the characters run by players again in person!! Knowing a few characters and what they are like and meeting new characters and trying to understand what they''re like is so fun!!
++Being the spider bait.. For those who don''t know the whole story,, Doyly was the one who got kidnapped by spiders and most likely was the cost of 6 character deaths ((but who''s counting am I right??)) but I''ve never had so much fun standing still for a hour with mosquitoes!! With hearing the combat,, the screams,, the ""Sorry Doyly we are leaving you"",, and getting some more kidnapped buddies every 10 or so minutes.. It should not have been that much fun Big Grin
++The Lords and Lady.. Lord Vintner,, Lady Urquart and my dear Lord Bantry were all amazing characters and fantastically played!! Lord Vintner has to be my favourite Lord being he kinda seems like that teacher who knows he is going to quite so just saying ""DO WHATEVER!!"" and still passes the class.. Lady Urquart is very interesting,, she is for sure gives the best perks of siding with her as long as you worship Physignathus.. And my Lord Bantry does seem like kind of dick but I mean he sent 3 highly skilled men into a spider cave to save me because I follow him.
++The party!! With the combo of having to RP drugs in the fire,, tossing around a passed out Orc,, the ""LEGITIMATE SEAMEN"" and super drunk Uther.. It made for a great time Tongue
++All of the NPCs!! They were all just so wonderful!! The full time NPCs all had parts to play they either knew very well or had made them to serve a great purpose.. And the people on the NPC shifts ((me being one of them)) just had such a blast being NPCs!! Might want to do a weekend as a NPC one of these times..
++Being robbed.. This was not Doyly''s weekend.... I got tricked out of my tent at night,, knocked out,, and a bunch of my stuff were stolen!! And it was great!! It was quite the blow to Doyly,, and almost made the Murker fight harder,, but I was just lucky enough to get a sword and shield for that fight..
++CHUNKY AND WET!! Heart

Cons::

My door of a shield breaking Sad strap broke on me..
A Gargylen with a broken left horn, favouring a shield, and has a child like wonderment towards everything. He is also Head of the Hospital Guard, and due to recent events his Horns are now Blue and slightly sparkles.

"I'm kinda an expert on being dead at this point!"

Pros:
- Hijacking the bow and doing archery all weekend. Forgot how much fun it was to shoot things.
- 100% accuracy at night... I don't understand.
- "Stop blooping or I'll end up shooting you!"
- "Who goes!" "Blerp!" "AHHHHhhh A Bloop!" "Noooo!!!"
- Laughing so much I was crying almost all event.
- Being so silly to rep being drunk that I felt drunk.
- Laughing
- BRAVADO!
- "How do you eat a Minitar"
- Also the food from the tavern was very tasty
- Midnight reasoning.
- Uneven Steps!
- Did I mention laughing?
- I realize that I have a couple things that end up being apart of every LARP character I make. The biggest thing is my forever NOPE when dealing with spider caves.
- Finally taking on a werewolf, quietly walking back to the group out of the dark forest and whispering "Bravado"

- Totally picking the best lord! I don't have this quote exact but it went something like this.
???:"The other lord went to a spider cave to save his guys... What would you do to save us?"
Lord V: "well I would tell you not to go"
???: "LORD OF COMMON SENSE! but really..."
Lord V: "I would say... Why go to the spider cave when I have WINE!"
Everyone: "TO THE SPIDER CAVE!"
Lord V: "MORE WINE!"
*CHEERS*

Cons:
- So few spider cave deaths.
- Puzzle was alright. But maybe if you know there will be something that will take the PCs a long time do it in the shade? I play a fire elf but I hate the sun. You may laugh at the irony.

Now to get ready for UW Jericho. It is going to be so hard not to say "BRAVADO!"
