Silent Vigil on Saturday
#1
Having been absent this past weekend to deal with personal queries, I have missed much.
Regretfully, I have come to learn of how many of us have suffered loss in this short time.
That's why, despite the short notice, I will be leading a silent vigil at the shoreline Saturday evening. This will not be a religious event. You all have your chosen to turn to for guidance in those matters. Instead, this will be a gathering for the people of Ralinwood and all those who have suffered loss.
All are welcome, as long as they are respectful.
I will begin the ceremony, at 22 bells (that's 10 bells during the evening, Erastes) with a small sermon. Once I have finished speaking, I, and any other who wishes to join in the action, will send a candle afloat into the waves and a period of silent reflection will ensue.
Whenever you feel comfortable, you may depart. I will remain until the last of us have done so. You have no obligation to do the same, I only ask that you be respectful of those around you.

Thank you,

Sgt. Riven Shadowlight

As per request, the vigil will be relocated to Stormvale. A much easier place to locate than an indiscriminate location upon the beach.
You are still encouraged to bring and light a candle for your loved one. We will simply not be setting them adrift.
Your patience and understanding is deeply appreciated.
