Taken aback for a moment, Swiggins gathers himself before letting out a hearty chuckle. He then takes to a tall stand and salutes with a smile.
"Well Captain, I be delighted to hear me work did you and yer crew wonders. I had me a fear that bandits snagged 'er from port but to hear she helped you folk brings a real tear to me working eye."
As he stands at ease he looks over the other ships at dock and quirks a brow as he speaks.
"If I may be askin' Captain, there any damages or injuries of the sort to you lot or yer ships? If so lemme know and we aoughta be able to get things up and running. A few healers still kickin' around town and I can get me self and me mates working on repairs. Can't have fine Duvainian vessels cryin' out with the hurt afterall. It'd be against all I learned from me Pop."

"The rest of the vessels were put to tide before the demons got to them but myself and a few were trapped on the docks. We sought shelter on your ship and with some creative rope work used the other vessels to pull us to sea. Now i've seen you and yours working on this vessel for some time now and i mean no disrespect your craftsmanship is impecible but i know the cost of a venture like this and you are a long way off before she is truly sea worthy. I'd like to make you a business proposition that might see her sailing much sooner."

Swiggins stands shocked before he stutters his wording, he scratches at the back of his neck with a chuckle at the compliment.
"Well I'll be mate, that be quite the delight to hear. Been around Duvainian ships all me life so they be second nature to me mind."
He straightens up as he hooks his hands into his work-belt, a look of delight and inquisition.
"If ya got a hankering to make a proposition then by all means I'd be glad ta hear ya out. Me ventures to gander some coin from overseas be about as dry as a finished leather rack unfortunately so any help be grand."

*the elf nods* "what i propose is this: take on the commision as a privateer in Duvain's navy. Your commision will be directly under me and your vessel shall fly duvainian colour proudly! I will set work crews to your assistance to finish your vessel post haste. In return you will captain the ziggurat and transport merchantile goods and supplies as the navy requires until such a time as the debt for your ships construction is complete. Until such a time as your commision is fulfilled you will be entitled to transport for sale in other ports as many goods as you can fit into your cabin space. As a privateer under contract with the Republic your vessel will enjoy the protection of the navy as well as the assitence of our dock crews at any duvanian port. Should you be required to travel abroad you will also be entitled to the benefits of the republics trade contracts with other White Raven Alliance states. Does that sound like something you and your crew woukdbe interested in?"

Swiggins lights up as he takes in all the info before taking a moment to clear his throat.
"Captain ya had me support o' this project at the draft of finally joining the Navy proper - like. I'd be making dad proud and showing that I got the right gusto for Naval work. Sign ol' Captain Swiggins on."
Swiggins holds out his hand with a grand smile.
