public justice (ts:dawn april 26th)

[Dan Finn]

*Two Duvanian soldiers carry halberds march a damp human man toward the clearing near the town tavern. The man has his hands in stocks and his feet in ferters and chains. Once they reach the metal post coming out of the stone slab in the field they unclasp the fetter from on ankle and attach it to the post. The guards pull up chairs and take their seats.*

[Harutsuki Saica]

-looking around- "this isn't so bad. Could be worse. This would be worse if I work for the military"

-remains silent after speaking-

[Byford Vidarson]

*Byford approaches the men, keeping appropriate distance and his sword sheathed*

"Morning, lads. Wha' do we have here?"

[Harutsuki Saica]

-remains silent with closed eyes and breathing slowly almost as if in meditation-

[Kafara]

*Is walking though the tree lines with a basket of dried Cat-tail's and barks from the Burch trees.*
"This seems to have gotten out of hand, I am so sorry." *She nods to him, hoping he hears. Before moving on down to the cabins.*

[Harutsuki Saica]

-opens his eyes and replies to kafara-

"no need to be sorry. I'm the one who should be sorry. I stepped in hoping to help not taking into account of what would happen to me"

-closes his eyes again-

[Byford Vidarson]

*Byford looks towards where the talk is coming from, and approaches.*

"Mornin', wha' happened here?"

[Harutsuki Saica]

"Morning" -looks up-

"I interrupted military business and attacked a solider with no intent to kill. This was over the soliders asking for the permits at the new tavern that opened up by the docks"

[Byford Vidarson]

"Ah. Okay. Well, good no one died. So then why is tha' guy in the stocks?"

*Byford paused for a second.*

"Anyone needs healing?"

[Harutsuki Saica]

"Good question. The soliders will be able answer why I am in the stocks. I'm Harutsuki by the way. I'd shake your hand if my hands weren't tied"
