I need to start putting together my sword, but I have a few questions. I want my sword to be multipurpose, so that I can use my shield if I have to but can use the sword 2-handed as well. In this case, would I have to treat it as 2 different weapons? Like, if I'm using it was a 1-H it does 2 damage versus if I'm using it 2-H it does 4?
Also, when making it, would I have to use the dimensions of the 1-H or can I go the full 56"? I would prefer the longer reach, but I don't want to have my boffer denied.
