As for our intentions, we serve the will of the council majority, and in times of open war, the Navy directly. If called upon we may be asked to uphold the law or improvise solutions in unique combat situations. We're barred from holding positions of authority for pay, though we can be deputized if need arises.
We will still swear fealty to a lord or lady of our choosing, as we should, to keep as busy as we can when not called on by the council directly.
