*Levi and Aminata enter the tavern, collecting Balthasar along the way. They take a seat a free table in the tavern. Levi leans in and addresses Aminata.*
"What is it that we can help you with tonight?"

*Settles herself and neatly settles her hood on her shoulders before speaking.*
"Earlier today I was paid a visit by a friend of mine. He reminded me that there were a few of you with whom I wished to speak. We did not have much of a chance to speak out first few days and weeks here. Have you settled a camp for yourselves yet? I should like to come visit, if Baltasar promise to treat my men as he would his own friends."
*Smiles a little and raises her hand to a heavy chain around her neck, which hangs loosely but would easily fit snuggly if tightened.*

"We've had our sights on a small camp behind one of the cabins being erected for the lords and lady, but we've not yet put down our tents there while the work continues. It was above the wolf den we had encountered during the establishment of the Skein portal. The space will hopefully be available when the lords and lady have settled in, but its been some few days since I've checked in on it.
I won't speak for my companions or their behaviour, but if Balthasar begins to assault townsfolk without provocation he's been made aware that we're going to put his head on a pike."
*He shrugs at Balthasar and smiles.*
"I am curious, if you would indulge me, as to who this friend of yours is that mentioned us."

"Yes, of course you are welcome to.. listen... if Levi and Baltasar do not mind of course."
*Turns to the two*
"This is my man Brennus. He... attends me often."

"Oh I see, a pleasure to make your acquaintance Brennus. Levi, as I'm sure you gathered."
*He glances back to Aminata.*
"I take that to mean your anonymous acquaintance shall remain anonymous. Have you set up a campsite for you and yours already, then?"

"For the moment anyways, if you don't mind. We have indeed... Though it would appear some were spreading rumours that I invaded another camp to have mine."
*Waves her hand dismissively*
"I have no idea what that's about. What's mine is mine. You are of course welcome to come visit any time. I'll make some tea."
*Smiles a little more*
"So the lords and lady will be here soon... Are you planning on serving them directly? Or just working in town to earn your citizenship?"
*Eyes flick to Baltasar and back to Levi*

"Best not to mind the rumormongers. I'm sure if you'd have invaded something, you'd have noticed it. I'll be glad to be by when we've established our campsite and take you up on that offer.
As for our intentions, we serve the will of the council majority, and in times of open war, the Navy directly. If called upon we may be asked to uphold the law or improvise solutions in unique combat situations. We're barred from holding positions of authority for pay, though we can be deputized if need arises.
We will still swear fealty to a lord or lady of our choosing, as we should, to keep as busy as we can when not called on by the council directly.
Idle hands are a demon's playthings, and I do not intend to be idle at all."
