Riposte: if Riposte is used against a physical effect for which it makes no sense for the effect to be reflected the Riposte is treated as a parry and nothing else. Just as in the case of ranged weapons. Abilities which cannot have their effect reflected and are thus only parried, include but are not limited to: physical engulf, death roll, lockjaw, physical grab, etc.
