The Truce Hurts - Event Review
#2
Pros:
• SO MANY WILD ELVES. I didn't meet a single Two Feather until last November because they either weren't out or I was NPCing, thus seeing so many here was amazing. I got to be so racist. Was also great to meet the Blood Moon, sketchy friends are the best friends. Will's Firbolg was also lovely to see, so many feels there.
• I hate politics. Politics are the worst and bore/confuse me. That said this event was stellar. It felt very down to earth and real, some of the disagreements were petty and annoying, some were very valid. People felt slighted and victimized and legitimately hated one another just based on race and reputation. Trying to sort everybody out and hear about the lives of the NPCs we don't always think about was a delight.
• NPCs were great. I don't think there was a single one of them that wasn't engaging to talk to, even if some were abrasive as heck. I liked my dangerously accurate card reading courtesy of Ange and the song of heroism for the final fight was a nice touch.
• "You need to get your story straight, elf." "NOTHING ABOUT ME IS STRAIGHT." ".....I have many questions." That interaction alone was worth the price of admission.
• There were MERCHANTS! Who accepted TAGS! So many only take coin and while I get that NPC camp needs those coin reps back it's so hard to get rid of stuff without going to Ye Olde Alec Mart.
• Nearly murdering somebody before the fight with the undead because they brought up a very, very sore subject for Ursel. You probably know who you are. Ilu.

Neutral:
• Hall was a bit small but actually wasn't that bad considering the smaller amount of people we had? Though if we're doing combat in parking lots in the winter again I suggest tossing some salt down. Chasing wraiths on ice, while thematic, is nerve wracking.
• Maybe if it's gonna be an RP heavy event send out a few NPCs with cards/games/etc... just to help give the players who don't feel like nose diving into politics something to do? A chessboard might have been nice. THERE WERE CHESSBOARDS I AM BLIND

Cons:
• Ange wouldn't let me lick her fire stuff. So rude.
• I don't think I have any real complaints? Damn guys, good job, usually I'm a salty nerd.
Ori Moran: A purple feathered Avian with a red hat who carries a black and white shield. She has three Shadow Marks over one eye and a scar through the other.

Nelinha: Some asshole Ice Elf. Has a bright red hooded scarf and a black winged brooch.
