I should begin by saying that the gender of my god is a mystery. Some like to assume she's a woman, others simply say they or them to avoid the matter all together. There was a time when Dietremen was even heralded as the patron of those who struggled with their own identities in this way. For my own reasons, I prefer referring to Dietremen as a him, and will be throughout this. Still, until it's ever proven one way or another, it hardly matters. Especially give the gods that have much more concrete concepts of gender can appear however they wish.

Still, I've met many from other towns and lands that do not, and there is even a public temple in Antioch. It is a matter of choice, and sometimes a question of personal safety.
