Weekly Sermon (Saturday Sept 16th, 1 Bell after Lunch)
#79
Serene glances at Sevatar, "I have been told the name before but I don't know her personally I'm afraid. I tend to avoid those who follow Sybil, bad blood you see."

Turning back to speak to Lamalas, "Potentially Lamalas. Granted I've always seen every god and goddess and firstborn as being flawed in some way. It's seeing their flaws and knowing how to either exploit or manipulate them that allows some of us to keep living. I don't mean it maliciously either, simple fact as I see it. For example Valdr cursed Haldora through the trickery of another god Sverin did he not? I cannot see a susceptibility to smooth words or quick decisions being an overly good thing. There are good and bad with everything in life, and each facet has as many virtues if not more than the negatives but you cannot blind yourself to things that are wrong. Then you become just another Zealot burning elves because your people tell you it's right."

As she reaches the end of her words the branch she had been holding snapped suddenly and she shakes her head, clearly angry but calming down.
