All this talk of sermons and faith lately has reminded me that there are many who are unfamiliar with my god. During both my time here and abroad I have been met with confusion over Dietremen's nature. Some didn't even recognize the name.
A few may be quick to quip that such confusion does the god of secrets proud, but there is a difference between mystery and being utterly unknown.
Those who admit to worshiping the Nightkeeper are rare, at least in our town and those neighboring. One of my many reasons for being more open was to educate, and lately I haven't had the chance to do so.
I will be speaking about my god tomorrow evening. While our actual rites are secret, basic knowledge need not be. All are welcome to come, regardless of faith or following, or lack there of. This is not a means to convert. I simply believe there is nothing more important in this world than knowledge and understanding, and wish to share some of mine. Those interested should gather at seven bells, next to that odd little bench thing next to the sapper cabin.
If you are a person of faith and wish to share afterwards with me why your own divine patron or matron is important to you, I would welcome in. I enjoy when people speak of their passions.
