To the good citizens of Ralinwood,

I have spoken to a few of you already, and interest has been shown for a paid militia from within your numbers. Those who volunteer will be paid a monthly wage taken from town funds, earned through taxation.

With the history of your settlement, there must be a standing dedicated force for the protection of this settlement.

If an insufficient number of citizens come forward, then conscription will begin of those deemed fit to serve.

I look forward to serving as the military adviser to this town, and protecting the interests of the people of Duvain.
