Briar gave a slight frown and glanced to the tavern, "Many do not understand that to live an honourable life is to accept views different than their own. Truthfully, I do not even know if my god agrees with how I live, seeking to protect all things I can and do so without dishonouring myself, my family, or his name." He gives a slight sigh, "Sadly, the people will likely not listen. I did attempt to explain that if they truly wish to make farmland, to do so in areas of deadwood or to seek out parts of the nearby land that the locals would allow us to use.
