Favourite moment ever comes from my first All Hallows ever.
Came to game late (like 1am) so had to immediately go into game upon arrival. I'm giddy with fear and still had to set up my stuff but oh well.
We're walking towards our campsite and of course town is dead because everyone is hiding from the walking death machines. We hear noises that definitely came straight from the pit of Hell (i.e. sense life calls and IG screaming) and run into the woods to hide (from the screaming. No Meta!!). Somehow a Hobling ends up with us, and we literally listen to people run past our hiding spot begging for their lives. (They are unsuccessful). After everything goes dead silent... He INSISTS on eating something wrapped on noisey, crinkly tin foil... And talking... We try to shut him up (me with quiet terror, Quintus with an actual threat to kill him himself) but we still end up attracting some Hell Hounds... They go to move on, but sense us ((I'm panicked trying not to meta about just giving away my hiding spot)) and he comes straight for us, so we ditch our studf and run. They catch the Hobling first.. and bring him to the Grym himself who is now in the woods with us. They also catch Quintus but I manage to keep away and hide while they play with their catches. The Grim eats the Hobling... And spares Quintus. I've never seen a man in heavy armour run so fast.
