This time the creature's head breaks water, a mottled yellow and black, slick flesh with vibrant red veins visible underneath a thick, vibrating head fin. Its mouth opens in a deep hiss as a forked tongue flicks out over a double row of razor-sharp teeth. It leaps out of the water at the rod, aiming to close its teeth around it. Glowing green eyes glare at the fisherman.
