Strange Ships Arriving ((TS Nov 23, 4:30pm))

Dwiin Leans his staff on his brother as he takes his book out of his pocket and begins writing in it.

*Gets to his feet pitching the now empty bottle into the harbour and eyes the Pax human before giving a smirk and beginning to move off down the dock towards the tavern.*

[Ivanna]

*The male high elf behind Alex inclines his head at Aminata, a strange sneer of a smile on face.*

"Aminata. Nice to see you again. It's been a little while."

*The high elf is a tall man of average build, a messy mop of black hair covering his ears and almost covering his eyes.*

[Alec]

"Thank you Lady Gomorrah."  

*turning is head to master Rex when he is introduced*

"Master Rex, given the strain and expectations placed on this colonial dock, it's continued smooth operation speaks well of your work.  I'm pleased to meet you as well.  I expect that you and I will get to know each other quite well, as this harbour is so essential to the colony."

*turning back to Aminata, his eyes stop briefly on Aeval and he give a wry smile before addressing Aminata again.*

"I'm happy to hear you accept."

*a slight smile at the High Elf's comment*

*Unless she offers resistance, Alec guides her to his waiting longboat.*

[Ivanna]

*Master Rex does his odd bow again, a softer look on his face.*

"I look forward to working with you. Your gift is... Much appreciated."

*He looks around the clearly beaten up docks.*

"MUCH appreciated. Now, as I'm sure YOU can appreciate, I should start getting the new ships docked and settled for the winter."

*He waves at a neat-looking soldier in Duvanian colours, then, with a tug at his cap, turns and walks off with the soldier, clearly giving him instructions.*

[Aminata Gomorrah]

*Aminata similarly inclines her head, a frown on her face, waiting more politely for Alec to finish addressing Master Rex.*

"Yes. It's been some time. We'll talk later." *She says oddly curtly, then turns back to Alec.*

"Just one moment, if you please."

*She turns to her companions, addressing Sven particularly*

"I'll be back this evening. You don't have to wait here for me here, if you have other things to do - I'm sure I can find someone to escort me back to the town to find you."

[Quiet]

*he motions to the still incomplete boat swiggins has been working on* 

"I vast going to aid zhe captain on any last minute repairs before the frost came."

*his face softens as he seems to relax* 

"I'll be here vhen j'you get back."

[Ivanna]

*The high elf looks at the oddly dressed man with the odd accent with a frown, then focuses on Aminata, his overly polite grin a little sneering.*

"Cousin. After dinner, I'd like to request the pleasure of your company on the ship where I will be staying for the next few days while my more permanent lodgings are arranged."

*He points rudely towards the THE LAST CALL, which is now pulling into a dock; LUCKY GAMBLE follows, waiting for its own dock, each of the two docks now sporting sailors readying for the two ship's final arrivals. HERETICAL PROFIT stays where it was initially anchored.*

"We have some... family... matters to discuss. Alec, you won't mind seeing over afterwards, will you? You can return that book I lent you as well."

[Quiet]

*Sven just smiles at the male highelf*

[Aeval]

"I'll be here when you return as well Lady Aminata."

Aeval smiles, she nods at the other high elf standing behind Alec.
