Who fucked up the Gate

*Aminata turns to Bart*

"Apparently, the gate sent us a message from somewhere. There's speculation that it's from Melinda. I am of the opinion that it is a trap. The message was sent to more than just us though, so says Sevatar."

[Promises]

"I have received a few replies. It likely is a trap. It doesn't seem right to abandon the inhabitants if it is not."

[Capri Aquari]

"I be suggested ya'll keep ya distance from this here gate of miracles, A most heinous ju-ju be flowing from it. It ain't sittin' well in any of my gut that be most sure."

Capri takes two small bundles of herbs and sticks them into the ground next to the gate, his next actions strange as he drenches them in an intensely bright liquid and lights it with a tinder. They burn harshly before he snuffs them out enough to cause no more than steady smog to emit from them. The smoke thick but not hard to breath, it's sent gives a small head rush to any who inhale deeply.

"It be best that folk keep their breathing light for a time, the area needs some chill and to cleanse up just in all cases. If shit be flowin' out to deal harm to us folk then it be best to stay clear and bundle up back in the center proper-like."

-Java comes walking out of the woods seeing Capri doing his little cleansing ritual, he leans against a tree and watches him work- "Brotha when you learn how to do dat kinda stuff~"

Capri looks over his shoulder as he works and chuckles.

"Lil' Bro you were there, don't ya up and remember the teaching back on the Isle? The Chief be sayin' those teachings were big important to brothas takin' their paths. I up and wrote some of 'em down in the old tome in the ingredient cabinet if ya need the refreshing."

Java looks in thought for a moment "Hmm...fair point, just interestin' to see ya do it rather den myself~" he chuckles

- He looks between the two. He lifts part of his robe from around his wrist to cover his mouth from the smoke -
I'm going to stand by the gate and see if anything else happens. I'll watch it awhile.

Patting off debris from his pants as he stands up, Capri looks to Sevatar with a chortle.

"Light breaths and ya'll will be fine for an age, Take in too heavy a huff and you'll feel like ya hit the herb mad heavy. If ya feel anything most unrighteous after a time just come on by, we up and got the right greens to counter it all. Shishishi."

-Java takes a look around the Gate itself- "I cant see anyting about de gate Brotha...someting happen?"

[Capri Aquari]

"The gate be showing some wordin' but it all looked most wildly corrupt. I ain't feelin' a sweet jive from its ways."

Capri shakes his head and moves to his previously placed aside burnt log and lifts it up over his shoulder before heading back to his hovel in the forest.
