Training Day (April 1, 1:30pm)

[Deago Dall]

*Deago emerges from Emerald Camp and heads in the direction of the beach. He is seen carrying a large sack on his back. Upon reaching the beach head he sets the sack down and rummages through it. After a few minutes, he pulls out several strands of rope and a few old pieces of clothing.


He takes the clothing into the nearby forest and begins filling it with deadfall he finds on the ground. Upon filling the clothing, he returns to his equipment and spends several moments shaping the materiel into the form of a man. When he is content with its shape he props the figure up into the ground, making sure it stands at eye level.

Deago keels down and reaches into his sack once more and takes out his armour. After he is finished applying it, he walks along the shoreline and collects several stones to fill his belt with.

Finally, he returns to his sack and reaches in for a third and final time. He pulls out two large bricks and straps them to his feet using the rope. He stands up, collects his shield and spear and begins to train.*

*watches from afar*

[Deago Dall]

*Deago tries to move as fast as he can up and down the beach with the bricks strapped to his feet. After a while he takes position in front of his mannequin and pauses for a few moments. He closes his eyes and tries to focus. He then plants his feet firmly into the ground and assumes an offensive stance.*

He thrusts his spear into the mannequin several times before changing stances and repeats this several times before taking a break. Upon taking his break he notices Luna and gives her a polite nod.*

"Hello."

[River_forestwolven]

*Smiles brightly as she walks closer.* "Hello, how is practice?"

[Deago Dall]

*Deago smiles and nods*

"Very good... it's hard, but good. Thank you for asking."

*He plants his spear into the ground and shuffles over to Luna.*

"I don't believe we have met before. The name is Deago. Who might you be?"

[River_forestwolven]

"I am Luna, are you new around here?" *Smiles softly tilting her head* "Or have you been hiding from the cold?"

[Deago Dall]

*Deago shakes his head.*

"Oh no. I have been here since the towns beginning. I stepped ashore with Emerald Company about a year ago now. i usually keep to myself inside Emerald Camp though. Buuuut. I figured it was a nice day today, might as well make the best of it."

*He shuffles over to the mannequin again and readjusts it.*

"How about yourself. How long have you been in Ralinwood for?"

[River_forestwolven]

"A few months." *nods softly, as she watches.* "I live in Muintir."

[Sigurd Vask]

Grimnir glances over with a smile, "Deago! We still need to spar some time! Else Royce is going to accuse us of not practicing!" The Jarl calling out as he continues on his way to the pier.

[Deago Dall]

*Deago notices Grimnir passing by and gives him a nod.*

"Of course. Of course. Sometime soon my friend! I will seek you out."

*His gaze shifts back to Luna.*

"Muntir you say. That camp must be getting rather large by now. How are you liking it there? And in Ralinwood for that matter?
