So apparently I died.

I woke up in the resurrection circle last night, and I don't remember what happened, or anything that might have led up to it.  I remember moving from the cabin back to the tavern and talking with some people there, but I couldn't say specifically who, and there's quite a gap of missing time, as these things can go.

I waited to see if anyone was coming to bring me my things, but when no one showed up, I decided I would scavenge for warm clothes go home, and take a bath.

This morning I went back to town to check the messages here and do a walk around to see if I could find anything.  I did find my clothes and such, but all my valuable possessions were missing - money, weapons, armour, and such.  They were off to the side of the field just outside of town.

Does anyone have any idea what happened?  I'd appreciate if it you could let me know - please contact me privately here, rather than posting here.

While I'm upset about dying on Highwinter and losing some funds and goods, the thing I'm most upset about losing was my Bard in a Box.  I'd brought ti along in the thoughts of maybe playing some music for people to spread some good cheer, but I don't remember that I ever actually brought it out.  It's a plain wooden box with a black inset, that I'd been meaning to decorate and never quite found the time for.  There are a few people in town who have seen it and know that it is mine.  I would love to have it returned and am willing to offer a small reward to get it back.  I won't ask any questions.
