As you have probably already read, we have a lot of fun crafting related seminar day activities planned. We are going to bring as much stuff as we are able, but if you want to get some serious work done you will have to be ready to supply your own materials.
Specifically in regard to the boffer making competition and open workshop time, I will be bringing all the materials that I have from my younger larping days, but this stuff will only go so far. If you are hoping to build any boffers for yourself, donations, or the competition, you will need to bring materials.
Recommended items include:
PVC Piping
Pipe insulating Foam
Various tape (Duct, double sided)
Open Cell foam (The yellow stuff couch cushions are made of)
Camping mat Foam (for alternative boffer designs.)
Puzzle Piece Foam Floor Tiles (For axes and other large shaped weapons)
Scissors (we can never have too many pairs of scissors)
Craft Knives
If there are any specific items you are interested in making be they boffers or other crafting disciplines don't hesitate to ask about them here. I am sure someone will have experience working on just about everything in a community this size. Additionally if you are wondering on what materials to bring ask about that as well.
