Those who pay the tax of one silver per month will still enjoy protection as citizens. Those who pay four silver will still have access to the talismans that were promised. If any person finds this disagreeable and wishes to withdraw their oath of service, I understand and shall, with regret, release them. One needs only inform my tax collector, Ludvic, and allow him to take back the writ. Ludvic has also been given a list of available talismans, which many have read before now but some may wish to review.
