I would like to meet at your earliest convenience to discuss, as a concerned citizen and friend of the family, why the dwelling of Alecto of House Ovid was stormed, her adopted daughter seized, and why she was dragged into the pavilion jailhouse. The Regent already knows of my desire to speak with him at his earliest convenience, but I would imagine the investigation was at your behest as Captain of the Wardens.
As I have the utmost respect for the judgement of both you and Regent Accius, I of course write this notice under the assumption that you both had good reason to lead town to attack a visiting noblewoman with seemingly no provocation, and wished to both hear our Captain's motives and speak with the Regent before I send word to House Ovid that they may wish to intervene in providing their wayfaring Lady Alecto with legal representation.
