"Hello, Greetings, and Salutations!
It is that time of year again! The wonderful weekend of Finder's Day! My name is Finamin “Boots” Copperpot and this year, to the lovely town of Ralinwood, I will be your Great Finder! This is a holiday where people of all kinds find interesting things and share the stories behind them and I invite you all to participate!
Finder's Day is very simple, and I will explain how it goes! Items you have found along with the stories of how you found them will be submitted to me over the course of the holiday! On Sunday at about ten bells in the morning, I will have decided the winner! That person will be crowned as next year's Great Finder, and they will get to keep all of the stuff found during Finder's Day! So, do not submit things you have found that you are not willing to lose!
Now for the rules, cannot have a fun game without rules!
1. No stealing. Items must be found!
2. Items cannot be taken from a corpse without their permission!
3. Findings must be founds during the festival!
4. The story is just as important as the item!
4, but a different 4 this time. Lies about stories is cheating!
5. The Great Finder must not play, and must judge fairly.
6. Any race can participate!
Those who cheat will have their findings confiscated, and added to the pot for the winning finder to have, as well as being disqualified. Those disqualified will be nicknamed Bittercut by all Hoblings throughout the known area for a full year! So, please do not cheat!
With that out of the way, as of Ten bells in the evening on Friday, I call Finder's Day a go!"
