Dearest Ralinwood,
Too often do we get caught up in the present that we forget the past.
This summer I would like to invite you to partake in a week-long celebration, commemorating the Celestial War.
The events that transpired only just years ago, have affected us all—and continue to do so. The War has shaped the world in unforeseeable ways. The scars that the beast Ga’more has carved into the masses are still fresh and will be difficult to heal even for the passage of time.
However, the Celestial War was also a time of unity. All peoples—faithless, dragon and god followers alike—banded together to rise up against the Enslaver and free Essylt from his clutches.
This celebration would seek to embody that spirit of comradery and allow everyone, regardless of faith or lack-thereof, to come together once again.
I would like there to be games that speak to the the fallen gods and performances recounting the major events of the war, with prizes to be won. That being said, the success and grandeur of this celebration is entirely dependent on community participation. It is also important to note, festivities and fun are worthwhile pursuits on their own, but the true goal is to keep the knowledge alive.
For those who are interested, I would like to form a planning committee; hence, why I am bringing this to your attention now. For those who do not want such an active role but still seek to help, monetary donations to fund food and operating costs are always welcome and your generosity, if you desire, will be publicly acknowledged. And for those who do not see the value in coin, donating a prize of any sort to sponsor an event is also an option.
If you are interested in contributing in any regard, please contact me immediately.
Those who witnessed the events first hand, or were unlucky enough to suffer the loss of their deity, are strongly encouraged to apply.
I will be checking the notice board daily, or you may find me at my tent.

A young human dressed in a tunic and pants. He wears black greaves and bracers and carries a sword that is just a bit too large for him.
